Hotel rooms are standard and clean! The service is good, love the gym and pool but the breakfast and the new bar (food)menu is 👎🏻👎🏻 but overall all it's over U.K. Hotel standard for the price and location.

My partner and I stay here every time we visit Liverpool. Having lived in the city previously, I adore going back as often as we can.
It has easy access to the city centre and is opposite the retail. It has private parking which is a must for me. It's free with your stay as you input your reg at reception.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is the best breakfast we've had at a hotel. Really makes the morning.
Polite staff, bar staff especially.

The art deco style is carried right through the building, my favourites were the staircases but the attention to details such as door handles is wonderful. Room was a reasonable size, bed very comfortable and shower pleasantly powerful. Breakfast buffet was good and provided all the usual fare. Hotel is well situated with easy access to city centre and airport. Plenty of parking space.

Stayed with husband and child. Good clean room. 2 double beds. Didn't do breakfast as we had early starts both mornings.
Staff v friendly
Lady that cleaned room v helpful.
Will stay again. U get use of David llyods gym next door which we didn't know about. Will bring swimsuit next time

Had a lovely day lovely food reception staff where very good, not enough staff in bar area, rooms comfy lovely beds, they need more staff, fire alarm went off during wedding meal, staff where all outside we where left sitting there, I went to see what was happening but no one to ask, it was a bit unnerving in view of what happened in Manchester, The wedding cake was cut up and not put near the buffet table that we asked them to do, it was in the corner out of the way, no one saw it, but staff threw it out, I tried to find out the next day what happened to it, they had no right to throw it, we should have decided what to do with it, it was our property to do what we wanted with, they should have announced where it was and people could have ate it then. Wedding cakes are expensive this was such a waste, the manager was no help, he doesn't think there is anything wrong with what they did. They where too short of staff. We deserve compensation for the cake at the very least, I would have been prepared to recommend this hotel for a wedding but these few mishaps spoilt what was such a lovely day.
