Great hotel, good size room with very comfortable bed and pillows, best we've ever slept on. The room had all the amenities that we required for a short stay, shame that the sofa was a fold out bed and there was only one chair at the table to sit and eat if necessary, plus the shower was over the bath. Great location for the Newcastle 500 and to watch the to and froms of port activity. Parking was either expensive valet parking or meter parking which was a real nuisance.

Welcoming and comfortable.
I stayed for two nights. The hotel is on the waterfront. Perfect for walks.
Reception were very helpful. They advised me of night work on the roads at the front so gave me a room to back of the hotel. I didn't hear any noise so well done reception!
I'd recommend this hotel.

Great location for restaurants and bars although this hotel has a fantastic gin bar which is well worth a visit. Stayed in a club room which was very comfortable and spacious with a really nice bathroom. Club lounge available for residents staying in the club rooms for snacks, coffee etc but also wine available early evenings...a nice touch. Excellent choice at breakfast.

On Friday night I joined six girlfriends to celebrate Christmas, I must say I have never meet such friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble, I stated that my entree was slightly cold and before I knew it it was replaced with new meal. The food served at the restaurant was great and the accommodation was clean and spacious, being situated on a working harbour added to it's appeal. Definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Newcastle.

Beautiful views over Honeysuckle and in a perfect location; within walking distance to all the attractions of Newcastle! Great service and beautiful food! However because it is quite close to other restaurants it is good to try out other places!
