The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully served.
Our rooms were elegant and well appointed.
Valet parking was an added bonus.
The grounds are beautiful.

Very good and comfortable room.
Best dinner in 15 days in Scotland and England, deer meat and excellent Portuguese wine.
Place to enjoy, take your time, visit the gardens, one day and night is very short.
Visited Culloden Museum and Battlefield (1746).
Historic Highland Retreat
mcleanmcgarryon 16/10/2017 16:30The staff were fantastic and the grounds are beautiful. The historical aspects of the house are fascinating, and well worth studying prior to arrival. When you pull up to the house you will be in awe. We stayed in the Garden Mansion and the rooms were humongous and cozy. Great sitting areas to have a drink prior to dinner, and a peaceful walled garden is available to walk around. A nice touch was bagpipes being played around 6:30 to signal the kitchen is open.
Splurge at least for one night
TravelSuitsMeon 15/10/2017 22:32The "House" is filled with history. The rooms are large. The staff are very accommodating. Dinner was superb. Breakfast was included in our overnight stay.
The grounds are gorgeous.
Culloden House is very near to Inverness Airport.
If you are renting a car and are returning to Inverness Airport, please note, there is no drop-off location at airport with Enterprise that is has a representative to check your car. The Enterprise location is about 5 minutes from airport and a shuttle is provided to take you to airport.
Idyllic Highlands experience
DaveMatthewsfanon 12/10/2017 21:49Murray and the rest of the staff were nothing short of stellar. First off, they gave us an upgrade to the loveliest room. It was just adorable...a comfy bed with a plaid headboard and the Cameron plaque above it. Wonderfully appointed. The bathroom was huge, new and beautiful. Shower pressure was amazing! Breakfast was delicious...we were only there one night and didn't get to eat dinner there. Murray was extremely friendly and helpful....even going online to look up some history and clan info for us. The walled garden was spectacular, with many blooms still alive and lots of yummy apple trees. Everyone should stay here once....an unforgettable experience.
