    What People are saying

    Very inconsiderate Staff

    Sachin P on 10/09/2017 14:50

I had called up the resort before visiting and some receptionist attended the call. Gave her an idea that we are planing only for lunch at the resort for 10 ppl around and she had agreed to that.At that time she never mentioned that booking is mandatory.
When we reached the resort at around 1:30 pm they blocked us at the entry gate and called up some person. He mentioned that booking is mandatory and if we have to have a lunch there we will have to take the entire package. We had also agreed to take the entire package(even though we were going to have only lunch there.) still they denied even for that. Their plain answer was it shud have been booked earlier.
They were so ignorant that they did not even think that there are 10 guests who are hungry and want to have something. The reason is that resort is at such an isolated spot that if we want to have something it would have taken another 1 hrs 30 mins to reach that point. So we decided to visit the waterfall empty stomach off course and then leave the place. We even had one person who has a membership of sterling resorts still they we not ready to listen to any of our requests.

My point is that if booking is so much required than the receptionist should have insisted for the booking in the first place.

A decent resort with an amazing view of Dabhosa waterfall

Since Jawhar is quite an unexplored place in Maharashtra, there are not many options for a stay over here. We finalized on this resort simply coz of its scenic view of the waterfall near the rooms. We booked three family rooms from where the waterfall can be seen very clearly.
Reaching to the resort was bit of a task since the roads leading to the resort are not at all maintained, lots of potholes. Nevertheless we reached in evening during our check in time. The rooms were quite spacious which can accommodate max 5 people in one room, surroundings were beautiful due to the greenery & monsoons. There were some insects too in the corridor since its a jungle area. Hot water is available only in morning for few hours.
All meals were included in the cost - starting from evening snacks to next day lunch. Swimming pool is a bit small but its fun if you are with your family or a big group.
Buffet had decent options - dal, sabjis, sweet dish, however I feel non veg variety can be increased since there was just one chicken curry in compared to other veg curries. Tastewise its good.
Next morning we had some activities like zip line, rappelling & Burma bridge which was part of our package. All activities were fun & adventurous.
All in all a good experience. I would like to suggest the resort authorities to improve the services like room cleaning, supply of hot water, some machines can be installed outside the rooms so that insects don't enter the room.

    About Dabhosa Waterfall

From Top Side View is O.K.BUT Reaching to Downside by Steps is very Risky. You can not bath under this waterfall because the Dove made by this waterfall is dip. Not Advisable to visit this place. Very Much inside from Jawahar.

Experience Not good as a Couple Traveller

    Anirban B on 30/03/2017 15:58

Very poorly managed. Rooms are bad with smell. Bed ,bed-sheets and pillows are dirty. Front desk management tried to be helpful, but they don't have any option to help with. He was suggesting me to stay nearby resorts with clean room and AC accommodation, because I was looking for a AC room. Somehow I managed to accommodate in a room and at the time of payment the real game started.

They do have a card swipe machine, but they are unable to connect with the server because of non availability of signal. Can you guys imagine? He told me that the ATM is just 17km far.

Lastly he suggested me to go to Sajan Nature Club... Didn't take the risk after having this good experience.

But the location of the resort is really very very good. good for group of friends. I saw a big group of senior peoples there enjoying their stay. But badluck for me.
