Lovely, peaceful location. Our room was spotless and very comfy with fabulous view. The breakfast was great, homemade bread, jam and marmalade (as well as the full English option). Anita the owner was very helpful and a lovely lady. My only regret was that I forgot to buy some of the marmalade and jam to take home.

Lovely cosy B&B on a small working farm. Owners are great, friendly & welcoming. 5* well cooked breakfast with award winning home made preserves on toasted bread made by the owner. Eggs from the farm's own chickens. Panoramic views from every window. Great for walking, cycling etc. Decent choice of pubs nearby for evening meals. Lots of things to do in the area to fill your day, or just chill in the peace & tranquility of this beautiful countryside. Highly recommended.

Our already high expectations were met, and exceeded, by this wonderful experience. Anita was the perfect hostess, even making a phone call that helped with my family history research. The accomodation was spotless, and the food was five star. Nothing was too much trouble, and we will be returning whenever we are in the area.

This B&B was chosen cause it was close to work the next day but what a little hidden gem. It was better than a home away from home and Anita made me feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail, hospitality, thoughtfulness and kindness was more than I could have asked for. Anita I will certainly be back in my travels for some of that wool and more homemade jam. Thanks again.

We chose this B&B to complete our ruby wedding anniversary travels. Anita very kindly provided an evening meal, even though she had made the decision to discontinue offering meals, given the nature of our visit. The room was immaculate with wonderful views over the valley. The food was excellent, fresh and plentiful, and its presentation was lovely. Breakfast was superb and we were made to feel very welcome throughout our short stay. The local information allowed us to take an interesting walk following an old lead mining trail, which we followed up with a fascinating trip to the nearby Killhope Lead Mining Museum, both of which were close at hand.
