Good value and close to the Metro. We got a Metro day pass and stopped at the Pentagon memorial, Arlington cemetery and the Smithsonian/ Mall of America, then went downtown for dinner and back to the hotel for one fare.

We have been traveling to the Alexandria VA area for several years to visit family members. The Days Inn is a great value in an expensive area. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. We normally do not eat breakfast at the hotel so I cannot speak to that other than it seemed adequate. It is an older facility but we see improvements each time we visit.

Can't alter the air conditioning fan's direction. It blew directly to the head of the bed. We couldn't have a restful sleep at all. The plastic utensil was so cheap, It was not strong enough to cut a waffle.

This hotel needs a complete overhaul on its grounds....very shabby and dirty. Elevators has a strong urine smell inside. We were very disappointed as we usually choose Days Inn when we travel. This def needs a total re-haul.

Flthy hotel, stains on sheets and bedskirt, fingerprints all over, elevator is terrifying! NEVER again! A homeless person wouldn't sleep here!!
