I'd avoid coming here again. The front desk woman was unfriendly and took a long time to get us checked in. It was after check-in time yet she said most of the rooms weren't cleaned and ready yet!?! The hotel smells terribly of smoke. The rooms are very plain and not updated. Everything works, but the whole place has a low-class feel. And it sits a few yards from a busy interstate. There are plenty of options for low-price accomodations at this intersection, I wouldn't pick this one again.

We only stayed there overnight while visiting our son at Iowa State in Ames. The bathroom appeared dirty and was very tiny with a toilet and shower. The sink was in the main room. It appeared to have mold or dirt or something on the ceiling. The other thing I didn't like was there wasn't much room to sit while eating breakfast. There was 4 tables crowded in there with 3 chairs at each table. Very cramped and not everyone there was able to sit down and eat.

Room was comfortable. There was somewhat of a musty odor and looked kind of dated. Bed was uncomfortable.

Stay somewhere else!!!! The breakfast was the worst I've ever seen! The lady at the front desk was outside smoking instead of assisting customers for check out. The paint in the bathroom ceiling was falling down, and paint was peeling on the walls in the room. The paint on the mirror above the sink was also peeling. The carpet had a huge amount of dust all the way around the perimeter (border) in the room. The bed headboard had hand print marks all over it's surface. The kleenex box holder in the sink was broken so the tissue box was on the desk. Their was dusk clinging to the ceiling in the room. The fridge frame was broken and it was noisy. When the water ran in the sink you could smell the sewer gas smell back up coming from the sink drain. The shower needs to be scrubbed, their was pubic hair in the tub. The toilet needs to be CLEANED! It had stains in the bottom of the toilet bowl and brown stains on the floor by the toilet. The worst thing was the pillows under the pillow cases was stained YELLOW!!!

Booked a non-smoking and they gave me a smoking room. They could not change. Air conditioner broken.
