We were here for a hockey tournament and enjoyed our stay.We come to Barrie every year and this is by far the nicest hotel our team has stayed at. They have a pool which the kids liked and it was nice to have a bar to go to in the evening. Breakfast was not included, however we found it reasonable and it is nice to have the food cooked to your liking instead of a traditional hotel buffet. We hope to be back next year and will recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

The staff were very attentive, polite and friendly. The decor is nice, has a great rustic feel to it. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the toiletries and features in the room made it a convenient and pleasant stay. I was offered a complimentary breakfast at checkout which was a nice gesture and was very enjoyable. I would gladly stay at this location again.

We spent three nights at this hotel in Barrie and actually very pleased. Friends made the reservation for us, we were visiting from the States. It isn't the fanciest hotel I have ever stayed in as far as the rooms go but for the price it is very nice. It was clean, even though I go over everything with Clorox wipes, ha. I did tip housekeeping every day to change our linens and towels out. Even the towels are an option now!! I understand the green thing but part of what you pay for at a hotel is for someone to clean up after you :) I like to come back to my room to a fresh bed and clean room.
Breakfast is not free at the Sheraton but it is reasonable and you can get room service! Just fill out the card and put it on the door by 11 p.m., choose your own time for delivery and they will be there right on time! See my pictures for the scrambled eggs, ham, toast, potatoes and juice, it was $10.
And they forgot to bring our waffle we ordered (topped with whipped cream and berries for $6.50) So he brought it back up in about ten more minutes and wouldn't let me pay for it. Very nice. It was all good!!
Lobby is just lovely, I love the decor and feel of the entryway. The rooms are just average but again, clean. They do have fridge and microwave.

What can I say other than average?
Upon walking into the hotel, all I could smell was pool chemicals...it was however clean & tidy. My room was ok but no care put into making the beds & the previous apparent leak in the bathroom ceiling looked as though a 3 year old had repaired it.
I was with a colleague, so we headed to the restaurant for food.....we soon left, it's a small bar area with very limited bar food, although the local beer was very good.
Checkout was harder for my German colleague than for me but I suspect he'll leave a review to detail that experience.
All in all it was ok, generally clean & tidy but not what I'd expect from a Sheraton.

This is definitely not your typical four points. Staff is clueless... service in bar and restaurant is horrible the staff were ok but extremely slow beds are comfy as usual though, pool is small but clean, not what I'd expect from this chain of hotels
