Great service from the front desk and housekeeping. They were very welcoming. Clean and well kept. Will stay there again if we are back in the area

Nice People, Building Needs an Update!
John Von 25/10/2017 20:39Recently stayed at the Charleston Days Inn on Lincoln Avenue for EIU's homecoming. Staff was excellent, rooms clean, but rooms and hallways need to be updated. Pricey at $109 per night.
Terrible. 5 people that are breakfast were sick all day. Smoke detector went off at 12 am. Did not charge credit cards.

Told staff about complications of stay asnd they did nothing to resolve the problems. Air conditioner did not work properly either. May never stay at a days inn again!!!!!

SpyderWoman70on 24/09/2017 14:04My teenage son and I stayed here for a night after visiting the nearby university. The front desk staff was very friendly and gracious and the room is clean. The beds are in dire need of an upgrade however. Free breakfast is served which is your typical hotel breakfast. I'm used to staying in a 4 to 5 star hotel so this was a step down for me. There is only one other hotel in this small town and a bunch outside of town. If my son chooses to go to this school, and I visit frequently, I will give the other hotels a try.
