I stayed here in November 2017 en route north for a funeral.
I arrived after a family birthday at 01.00. The lady on reception was positive and helpful. All good.
The room was spotless as expected. The bathroom was the normal reasonable size and equally spotless.
I slept remarkably well.
A positive choice for an en route efficient stop.
I cannot select the ratings below.

Have never stayed at a motorway service area before but had business in the area so chose this for location and low cost.
It's pretty basic, but clean enough and, if you're just looking for a bed for the night, the price is attractive. It was pretty quiet and I got a good sleep.
Went to Costa next door for breakfast.
Note that it's not easily accessible from the southbound carriageway without a five mile detour.

I stayed one night as I needed a quick overnight stop for an early start next morning.
Word of advice - don't follow the satnav directions for postcode as it takes you off the motorway through back roads and through a barrier controlled back entrance.
My room was spacious, clean, bed OK, tea/coffee making facilities etc.
However, the lock on my door kept sticking. I had to turn the key several times until it "caught" to either lock or open the door. Once this happened when I was inside so I was a bit concerned I couldn't get out. (The reception lady had gone by this point)
The soap dispenser in the shower & by the hand basin were both empty. As I was traveling alone & in the shower when I discovered this I couldn't have anything done about it.
The restaurant facilities at the services station were very basis & lacking in choice.
It was OK for a quick stop, but wouldn't recommend or stay there again.

Terrible service with adjacent cafe where food was inedible the bathroom had no extractor and not vert clean awful service would not reccomend anyone the bathroom was badly stained

We booked this hotel THEN read the reviews!!! So we were sceptical about our stay. Totally uneccessary, everything was good. Clean room, clean fresh towels, changed when required, bathroom clean, room warm, two pillows on bed with two in wrapper if needed, tea, coffee milk replaced daily. Kelly the receptionist was very welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for her, an asset to the hotel. We would recommend and stay at this hotel again.
