Will not stay at this hotel again. There was mold in the shower. A dead spider in the corner of the bathroom dlooe. Front door did not lock so we put a chair in front of it so no one could come in

Located right near Hickory and very close to the interstate, this is a nice hotel to stay in for a great rate. The front staff was very nice and upgraded us to a suite for no extra cost.
The rooms are dated - but not in a bad way. It just feels like staying in an older home. Very clean and comfortable.
They have a free breakfast which is pretty typical of most budget hotels - waffles, pastries, cereal, etc.
Overall a good deal and definitely recommend if you are staying in the area.

Clean room and reasonable price. I booked online on the way and check-in was simple. Very friendly staff.

For some reason ( I would assume price) my company booked this motel for me. I noticed the rooms opened to the outside which as a single female concerned me, since I typically leave out very early. I called the motel and asked if I they would hold a low level room close to the office for me. I was told no they did not hold rooms and was disconnected. I arrived after dark , the hotel looked very dingy . I went inside to check in and had to complete check in through a glassed window. I again asked for a low level room close to the office and was told non were available. I was given the last room upstairs " near the stairs". The stairs were all the way at the back of the hotel , not near a room or street view. I drove to the other side of the hotel, there were doors open and people hanging around outside. It really appeared that people live there. I gathered my luggage and mace and walked the metal stairs to my room and my door would not open. The green light would come on but the door would not budge. The curtains to the room were drawn. I actually was concerned someone else was in the room. A car sped through the parking lot at that time. I was so uncomfortable and felt so unsafe I went back to my car and left. I found another hotel one exit down. This is a Motel not a Hotel. It is a very low level establishment as the price on expedia, hotels.com , etc. reflects.
