This motel has nice, clean rooms with comfy beds and pillows. The breakfast was great--waffles, biscuits and gravy, micro omelets, fruit, toast, muffins, juices, coffee, tea, etc. The location is great if you mainly want to shop or want an inexpensive night. There is a computer in the lobby. There are popcorn and cookie treats. The negative is that you are several miles from downtown Duluth and the lake. And in winter there is a steep hill between the mall and the harbor.

Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The room was a good size and internet was easy to get on. Also very good location for shopping. Would stay there again.

We have stayed at this motel many times and it is always clean and friendly. It is handy to all the shopping and a number of good restaurants. The popcorn and cookies in the evening is a nice touch. The free breakfast is adequate if you are in a rush but there is a Perkins right across the street for the real deal. We booked on Expedia and check in was very quick.

This days inn is in a great location across from the Mall. The staff is very friendly and greets you with a smile each time. The breakfast area is clean and nice to have your coffee and goodies there. It is really hot in the area in the summertime so maybe a fan or two would help to cool the breakfast area down. Rooms are nice, bathrooms are very tiny. It would be nice to have an elevator for the second floor rooms. Coupons to eating restaurants would be nice to have at the front desk to give out.

They have everything you need. Rooms are clean and nice, quiet, easy check-in, lighted parking, and close to shopping and the airport. The breakfasts though, are too heavy on the carbs.
