Fine for a short stay
C8804BYcindykon 14/11/2017 00:41I was not impressed at all by the front desk clerk who checked me in .
He had quite an attitude and was snappy .
He failed to activate the key card so I had to go back to the office .
He accused me of deactivating them because of my cell phone .
I never had them near my cell phone .
I might add that the tiny little office is a good distance from the hotel .
The hotel is back behind the office .
There is a Mexican restaurant attached to the office .
The room was ok .
Its a good location and has a decent view .
Forget breakfast . Its a stretch to call it breakfast .
Its basically coffee .
Stay here only if you have no other place to go
Diane Lon 26/10/2017 19:16We ended up staying here for W&L's parent weekend--even though we booked as soon as we found out our daughter was accepted!--this was one of the few hotels left available in the area. The walls are thin, the sheets and towels were not clean, and the continental breakfast was terrible. Please try to stay somewhere else!

Dean Bon 17/10/2017 19:14During check in, the person at the front desk could not locate my reservation made 10 days prior, even after showing them the email confirmation with Confirmation Number. As a result I did not get the King sized bed I had reserved.
However, Shirley was very helpful as she made my reservation for me and emailed me the Confirmation.
Looks the same as when I was a Keydet over 40 years ago-

I will not stay here again- I honestly do not think the rooms have been updated since I had a date stay there during my VMI years in the seventies. On the bright side-breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. On the flip side-the rooms look bad and are in need of updating, and the mattresses also need to be changed out.

Gaynor Bon 07/10/2017 02:53This hotel served our needs but really needs an update. Room cleanliness was not the best,but ok. The breakfast was substantial and the hosts were very friendly. It is about 10 min from horse center and easily located off the interstate.
