Mouse trap in the room. Did not clean room on 2 separate occasions, huge gap under door which allowed car fumes to enter room, holes/ molded caulking throughout. Front desk person not pleasant. Would never stay here again. Left 1 day early to move into another place.

Mold growing up the wall in the bathroom, water leaking in the room from the upstairs unit, bugs on the wall, carpet sticky and sheets looked used

Very dirty and had a bad odor. Part of the ceiling drywall had fallen down and electrical wires were hanging down.

The hotel rates in Midland are outrageous. So to get a rate less than $100 for a last minute trip was a nice surprise. Room was clean, didn't smell of cigarettes...sometimes when asking for non smoking rooms you still can smell smoke but was not the case here. I have a pine allergy so it was nice that we ended up with a room that the a/c was on the inside of the building side so not to be sucking in as much pine pollen. No elevator so will need to be sure to ask for a ground floor if possible next time. Sleep quality was mostly due to my allergy, the bed was okay not horrible but not the most comfortable either. and pillows could use an update. Room was a nice size, I didn't use the wifi and left before breakfast time so can't comment on them. I have stayed at better hotels but if on a budget and last minute I would stay here again.

So I have this room for 2 nights. One of the reasons I picked it is because they have a pool here. Well after I booked and arrived I found out the pool pump is broke so you can't use the pool. No compensation was offered. So I get in my room and I'm not expecting 5 star or anything but it was clean and acceptable. I decide I want to relax with a nice bath and turns out you can only use the shower apparently. There was a bunch of stuff(old caulk or calcium deposit, I couldn't tell) in the bath faucet and I couldn't get water to come out of it. The shower worked though. After a while the air conditioner stopped blowing cold air, but it might have just froze up. Being that this is the desert it'll do for tonight but if it doesn't work properly tomorrow I will have to switch rooms possibly. The drapes are a bit tattered but not too badly. The bed and couch are pretty comfy and it's quiet. Honestly if the pool had been working or they had offered to compensate me somehow, or even made an effort to inform me ahead of time that it was broke, I would have probably rated it as very good. I did come a couple hours earlier than my check in and they were nice enough to accommodate me.
