This hotel is not expensive and not too bad, it s not really new and the area is not super safe but it s really close from the transport for portland downtown, on 30min by train. The room was clean, heater in the bathroom would have been appreciate. Breakfast is nice: cereal, toast, fruit, yogurts, cakes. The breakfast is at the office and there re only 2tables of 4.
I recommand this hotel if you dont want to pay too much and are ok for a basic motel.

Dennis was EXTREMELY RUDE when I called about an early check in. He would not give me a specific price I would have to pay for early check in. He said "could be $20 or $30 or $40". Then he said "we're closed!" This is a hotel! How is a hotel closed!? Upon arriving to the hotel he was still rude to us! Gave us a hard time with the check in and continued to say my sister could not stay in the room with us because we only have one bed. Although we told him multiple times she has a reservation in another hotel!! On top of that there are signs everywhere with these absurd "rules". Like no guests after 9pm, only one car per room, do not take food out of the check in area, don't fill ice chests with ice...Terrible! Then we get into the room and the lights are super dim, the fridge and microwave are both dirty, and our towels were dirty and had hair in them! We called the front desk to explain about the room and all Dennis had to say was "make sure that girl doesn't stay in the room with you guys". I'm so livid! Also, he toilet is very loose and wobbles when you sit on it. And the tub looks gross. I will NEVER come back to his hotel again!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE, PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A HOTEL! Spend your money elsewhere.

The front desk personnel was rude and did not want to help with any of our issues. I wanted a wake up call and he said "do it yourself". We needed help with an overflowed toilet and he told my friend--"do it your self"....He gave him a plunger!!! Also, the breakfast bar was too late--7:30pm???

We had a nice clean room, nice staff. The free breakfast could have been better but still nice to have coffee and toast before leaving the hotel. We will come back to this hotel.

The striking thing about this hotel is the rules posted everywhere. "No more than one car per room or you will be towed!" "No filling ice chests!" "No visitors after 9:00pm!" "Visitors must register at the desk or you may be arrested!" (I'm not kidding -- it really says that). "We will not honor the do not disturb sign after 11:00am. If you don't want to be disturbed after 11:00am, you must contact the front desk before 8:00am."
The hotel is quite close to the highway, and the noise was mildly bothersome inside the room. Leaving your window open would be out of the question.
Otherwise it was OK. The beds were kind of soft, the towels were kind of thin, but no serious problems.
