We arrived and we were greeted by one of the best receptionists, Enya, that we have ever come across. So friendly, cheery and helpful.
This is supposedly a budget hotel but it has all the amenities needed. Hair dryer, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities - with biscuits and TV. Also free parking.
The room, bathroom and public areas were clean to a high standard.
Drinks can be purchased from reception and there is a comfortable lounge to relax in. Although no restaurant the hotel is on a Motorway Services site and there is a connecting walkway for access to restaurants and shops 24 hours a day. You can however order a continental breakfast to have in your room if you wish.
We usually stay at a local hotel for twice the price but could not get in there so thought we'd give this place a try. So glad we did. We will be staying here on all future visits to the area.

Had a meeting in the services with a colleague and decided to stay overnight as a smoker. Didn't expect to get a good nights sleep due to the location but was pleasantly surprised. The only thing that would make it better would be a thicker quilt but not the end of the world. I will definitely stay here again....if I can sort out the website.

Comfortable stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room warm and clean, although the bed was not the best. WiFi works well. Plenty of options for food on the site which is a service station. The parking is good.

We stay regularly at the Days Inn at Stevenage. The Manager and Staff are always so helpful and ready to help with any request we make.

Stayed here last night as I have done a hundred times before, as usual it was pleasant, very comfortable bed, shower good, staff very very helpful and polite, have used other places when we come to baldock but still prefer this, a handful of foods to choose from in the restaurant part of the services, something for everyone, we even had a phone call the day before to let us know the roundabout was closed and to advise us of a different route.
