Nice place to stay
singhajayviron 05/11/2017 21:36It is a good place very next to Sydney river and close to the downtown area. The only thing it is a bit expensive. The staff is nice and cooperative. It has ample free parking space for the customers. It just on Kings Road.

Just an "okay" experience

We were very pleased with how welcoming and friendly the staff were, especially the awesome ladies working the breakfast! Our room was okay but it is definitely in need of some work. The carpet needs to go, it looked old and stained in spots. Also, we were in room 347 and the shower was stuck on so it wasn't possible to give the kids a bath...just a shower. The bedskirts seemed very sloppy...they looked too large for the bed size. Unfortunately, there was a group of unsupervised kids running around the hotel all hours of the night which made it difficult to get our children to sleep. The same kids were also swimming in the pool without an adult with them. They looked to be12 and under and they were running, diving and were unruly. I was worried someone was going to get hurt. They were also making a mess, leaving garbage, crushed cookies, chips, etc. all over. At one point two of them were having a race into the pool and almost landed on my six year old. This kind of ruined the pool experience but the parents are to blame, not the hotel staff. The beds were very comfortable and there was a variety of items to choose from at breakfast.

R6419KVrosecon 21/10/2017 12:56After a beautiful day in the Cabot Trail my cousin and I decided to stay in Sydney Nova Scotia. The check in process was very quick and the person at the counter helped us with finding a great restaurant that delivered. We were exhausted. The room had everything we needed and was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning had both hot and cold selections. The ladies in the dining area were very friendly. Overall a great nights sleep and great start to our day.
