I would not have written a review about this average, run of the mill budget motel on this occasion as there was nothing particularly remarkable to note either way.
However - and take this as a warning -
A few weeks after our stay we received a parking charge notice with a very threatening letter mentioning court action and accompanied by photos of our car. The Days Inn website stated (and still states) free parking and we checked with reception when we checked in who also confirmed that parking was included and our car's position was suitable. Indeed, there is no way of actually getting to this middle-of-nowhere service station hotel unless you drive so one way or another, parking is essential and the fine seemingly unavoidable.
We are now taking the charge notice to appeal which is stressful and time consuming so my advise is to either factor in the penalty charge when booking the hotel or avoid altogether. This hotel is certainly not worth the £100 charge + room fee in my opinion.

One night stay on business. Nice Lodge that is better than "the other brand". Receptionist was great - what difference a smile and proper greeting makes - if you ever need a job, just let me know!
Room was great, for the price, but the noise - TV from next door, voices from all directions, slamming doors - needs some better soundproofing! Overall though clean, good value and would stay again (with earplugs). internet speed is about the same as a snail with two broken legs - don't expect to work!

Stayed here 2 nights while we visited longleat and peppa pig very friendly,helpful staff room was clean and comfortable , couldn't ask for more for the very reasonable price we paid .altough at services it was very quiet and was not disturbed,

The most basic accommodation but excellent value for an overnight stop. Comfortable bed, tea making facilities, and all very clean. Staff very pleasant. Would have no problem recommending.....but remember; it is basic.

This was my first ever stay at a Days Inn. I found it very basic indeed. The room (13) had a bed, desk, TV, and kettle. The shower was okay. The bed was very firm (to the point of discomfort) so didn't provide the greatest nights sleep. There was no decoration at all, just white walls, and there were no drawers or closet space. That said there were a couple of brackets on the wall with hangers. All in all very basic.
