What People are saying
Fabulous
352ruby33on 01/10/2017 14:29This is a typical Italian hotel, rooms were big, clean and views onto the street, a very busy street, very noisy, but with the windows shut couldn't here a thing, we stayed for a week half board, food was great chef would often ask us what we would like, very friendly staff. Our air on stopped working, a quick ring down and the receptionist was up to our room and fixed it in a flash. We had fresh towels every day room was cleaned every day. Lovely hotel.
Poor commumication
990nipunson 24/09/2017 19:56We were supposed to stay our last night in Naples near the airport, so we booked this hotel. When we reached the hotel around 8:00pm, the guy in the reception said there was an electric problem in the room so he had to transfer us to another hotel nearby hotel called Ferdinand. We were advised the other hotel was of a similar rating.
We were very disappointed as there were no communication from the staff to us. I am sure the electric was ongoing issue and the hotel staff could have sent us an email or called us to update about the change. However since we didn’t have any other alternative we ended up in another hotel.
The attitude of the receptionist was poor, the guy kept in reminding us that he is doing a favour by transferring us to another room whereas the hotel staff should have been apologetic.
Don't believe all you read! We got more than we paid for!
juleswoo14on 21/09/2017 22:27Just returned from a one week holiday in Naples We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. On arrival we were greeted by Sadam on reception, he could not have made us feel more than welcome. We were given the keys to our room (210) it was quite small but very clean with everything we needed as we had booked this hotel in order to visit the historical centre, Pompeii, ercolano, Vesuvius, Sorrento etc etc. The hotel, for the amount of money we paid, exceeded our expectations. The shower was lovely! The air conditioning was in full working order! The maid came in every day with fresh towels, made our bed and cleaned our room! The breakfast was continental every morning and had lots of choice with great coffee! All the staff were charming and went to great trouble to help and accommodate us! It was my partners birthday during our stay, the hotel arranged a birthday cake. On check out the reception were only too pleased to print our boarding passes for us. We loved our stay at your hotel guys! Keep up the good work and thank you for your contribution in making our stay in the wonderful Napoli a holiday to remember! Kind regards from lee & julie x
Air con does not work
JAEuropa2017on 16/09/2017 08:24My partner and I stayed here as a quick overnight stay after returning from the Amalfi Coast and flying to Santorini the next day. All we wanted was some air conditioned comfort and a restaurant for dinner. The restaurant was lovely with a friendly waiter and delicious food. Our room however was a total let down with a broken air conditioner. We both sweated through the night, with no sleep. When we mentioned it the following morning at the desk, we were told that we should have contacted the desk to have it fixed. We did not arrive to our room however until 11pm and the room should have been in working condition. I would not stay here again and dont recommend that you do.
Lovely typical Italian hotel
LeeNewtonUseron 13/09/2017 20:27We stayed here for 2 nights as our first stop travelling Italy.
The area is much like the rest of Naples outside (see below paragraphs detailing Naples itself) but inside felt completely different. The staff were fantastic. Very warm and welcoming. The room had a very comfy bed and was typically Italian! (The windows leaked slightly in the storm at night but it only left a small puddle on the window sill, no bother! It's an old Italian building!) The continental breakfast was very nice and the coffee was great! Everything was very clean and tidy in general and it had a quirky oriental theme to reception which was cool!
Only a 15-20 minute walk to central station (Garibaldi). Don't bother getting the metro as it takes 15 mins to get to the nearest stop and then it's still a 10 minute walk.
Not a comment about the hotel itself, but my wife did not feel safe in the surrounding areas walking to the station due to the huge swarms of illegal market traders along the way (literally hundreds eyeing up every woman that walked past). So I wouldn't recommend walking around if you are vulnerable or easily intimidated, get a cab!
Naples is the worst city I have ever visited. Disgustingly dirty and graffiti literally on every wall of every street. We chatted with another couple who said the old town is much nicer. They lied. It isn't. It's just more people with more dirt and graffiti. We used it as a hub to travel via train to Pompeii & Sorento (35 & 65 minutes on the Metro respectively)
But as I say, hotel was faultless! We are a normal married couple in our late twenties FYI.
