The night we arrived in Cartagena, we were unsure of what to expect. The combination of the second-floor location of reception and informality in dress and treatment of the receptionist made us wonder what kind of establishment we had chosen...
That said, at day break, after a delicious breakfast in the courtyard, we ventured out into the city and realized that the location is really perfect for exploring. After some sleep, the informality of the hotel staff seemed more like relaxed friendliness.
Our only complaint was that we had been told there was a pool, which was not the case. Instead there's a sunbathing deck equipped with showers.
We would happily stay there again.

My husband I stayed here for 3 nights when we were in town for a wedding. The location was amazing. The room was small, but clean and stylish. We had a balcony off our room with plenty of space and great views. There was some problems with the water temperature and pressure at certain times, but it was not a big problem. The breakfasts were simple, but nice.

It´s a great hotel in Cartagena. Very good location, near to a lot of good restaurants. You can do a lot of things bt foot.
Every one there is reaaly kind and lovely. The breakfast is also really good, with tipical fruits and juice.

The hotel is 5 floors , the roof is a good lookout on the old City. The location of the hotel is very central and close to everything in the old city. The room is small but not extremely small. Bathroom is reasonable size and the shower was good and it had a window. The lighting in the room is excellent, very rare in Colombia. You can actually read and work at the room at night. I stayed in a double twin room with a friend. the beds and bedding were very comfortable . The room has a small safe deposit and a small fridge. The room service is good and the hotel reception people speak some English and very friendly. We over paid for the first night as we booked online the first night and it was a bit pricy for the city the rest of the 3 nights but decided to stay because of the great location. The breakfast is very similar throughout Colombia and includes toast, fruits, yogurt , eggs , omelette and coffee and fresh juice and more.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Breakfast is served in a sweet little courtyard- omlettes/eggs, breads, fruit, and yogurt. They provided us with towels for a beach excursion we took. No pool. But the rooftop deck has an outdoor shower. Ask for a room with a balcony in 5th floor. The higher ceilings on the 5th floor make the room feel much more spacious. Location is perfect- very central.
