The Delta is a modern styled hotel close to the McGill University. Our room (923) was at a corner of the hotel and was quite quirky, with unusual angles to the room, bathroom and small balcony although there was plenty of space for our two large cases in amongst the other furniture. Looking at the Hotels exterior suggested that most of the rooms are of a similar style.The staff at the hotel were generally excellent, the concierge in particular sorted out a difficult error with our tour company (we don’t speak any French). The exception was in the breakfast room where no one seemed to be in charge and no one welcomed you and showed you to a table.

The Delta Montreal is in a fantastic
location. Close to the metro, st Catherine street, and lots of restaurants and shopping around.
Upon arrival to the hotel, we were greeted very promptly and check in was smooth! The room was very large and was nicely updated and clean. Would have been nice to have bath robes in the room as they do in Kingston but I guess they aren’t all the same.
The only real negative of the stay was the pool area. This seems to be the only area of the hotel which has not been updated. It is looking tired and could use a thorough cleaning. The rest of the fitness facilities were nice and seemed to fairly updated.
Overall, it was a great stay and would definitely return!

i was upgrade to the presidential suite on my last visit to the delta hotel in Montréal.This was a funny experience ,the suite is beautiful and so big ,being a platininum member for many yeats i was pleased to be treated so well .thanks Delta

I like this hotel and location downtown Montreal. Most rooms have balcony’s. There’s no chairs on it though. And you’re “not supposed” to smoke on it.
It was clean and mattress was good.
How much can I say. It was a hotel. I’m only writing this bc there wasn’t enough characters before.

Positives:
1) large room with large bathroom
2) Friendly front desk staff and nice engeneering staff
Negatives:
1) Pillows in the room are too high and hard
2) The restaurant staff keeps a cold attitude...doesnt make the guest feel at home - very negatively different from front desk friendly staff!
3) The breakfast spread is unacceptably low for a 4 star hotel, even 2 star hotels have better & larger breakfast choices. I work in the hotel industry so i know!
4) The rooms provide no slippers or soap.
