Not the best Delta Hotel.
Hotel room is either too cold or too hot, no in between no matter how you regulate your thermostat. No gift store inside the hotel. Room service was nice, but in the restaurant my father asked the waiter to bring one type of whiskey, but he brought a different type of whiskey , definitely cheaper one, but charged us for the good whiskey. Also, they promised me in the restaurant to apply my 20% discount to the bill, but did not.
Room does not have fridge or microwave! Did not expect it from delta. Anyways, not the best Delta hotel, will stay somewhere else next time when in Quebec.

The decor in the public areas at the Delta (painted, rough concrete) is very basic for a modern hotel. The entrance is also strange- past the car hire desk on the ground floor, up two narrow escalators to reception on level 3, which with two large cases is somewhat of a challenge. We did eventually find a ‘hidden’ lift past the car hire desk without any obvious signage, but too late. The room (706) was OK with a good view over the city without being anything special. We ate in the bar after arriving late which was very good as was the breakfast in the morning. Very pleasingly was the helpfulness of the staff- each of the people we dealt with were very friendly and helpful.

The room at the Delta in Quebec City was as you would expect-clean but a little dated(carpets) but the price was good. Normally you don't expect much at a chain hotel restaurant but they really outdid themselves. My wife had the veal special of the night and I had the flank steak. Both were above excellent and were done to perfection. In the morning we had the ham and egg special and eggs Benedict and they were perfect again. I would stay again just for the meal. We didn't really have time to use the pool but when we did go to look at it, a heated outdoor pool we were't able to get in

Nicely located in the center of Quebec City but slightly outdated for Marriott standards Hotel.
Ovearall experience was quite good.
Hotel staff was friendly and accommodative - helped to reschedule due to a canceled flight and kindly upgraded our stay to a nice spacious suite.
Recommend.

I booked this room solely for its convenient location right beside the centre des congrès (convention centre), but was very disappointed and surprised at the state of the room. Although it was reasonably clean, it seemed like it had not been updated since about 1990. There was a large crack in the bathroom counter, there was mold along the grout lines in the shower, and there were stains on the carpet. I was not expecting these conditions given the cost of the room.
