Think twice!

We arrived very early in the morning for a two night stay, totally exhausted. The good thing is that the room was clean, and very basic, it had a hot plate, sink, refrigerator and microwave.
Upon closer inspection we found hand prints on the windows, snot on the windows, the window coverings were shredded, the bath tub, we removed a wad of hair that was preventing it from draining and it still didn't drain very well.
The security door into the building didn't lock the first night, there were people sleeping in vehicles in the parking lot. Half the lights in the parking lot were out.
The swimming pool was out of service for maintenance.
The staff was not overly friendly, but at least they tried to respond to our needs.
It was difficult to tell who was staff and who were visitors.
Parking was somewhat difficult due to the presence of a lot of trucks in the parking lot...
The furnishings were a little wobbly, but they held together.
The bed was hard, but not as hard as some we slept on. Thankfully the air conditioner worked.
The highlight, was the housekeeping staff! With what they have to work with, they are doing a fantastic job!
They had only one elevator working, with the main one being down. I watched a guest carry his luggage and some heavy boxes clear down to the back elevator to go to his room and I truly though he was going to have a heart attack. I hope that went well!
We had family meeting us there that were on a serious budget or we would have cancelled the second night and would have gone elsewhere!
For a place that is inexpensive and as long as you have your pistol nearby... It's not that bad.
UNHAPPY

the rooms smelled like smoke the whole time. even thought we were in a non smoking. also in the kitchenette rooms there was no pans no plates no nothing for the "kitchenette". then in the bathroom they laid a piece of what looked to be wallpaper down in the tub and glued it down to make "slip proof" how ever overtime water must of loosed in the glue and their was mold under that wallpaper make shift slip proof pad. the night auditor must of been on drugs she couldn't sit still for 1 min to finish a simple task. the rooms LOOK NOTHING like the pictures!!! THE ELEVATOR WAS DOWN at the front and guests had to walk down to the second elevator and that one sounded like it would go down any min when riding on it. this place needs a lot of a attention to make it look like the pictures that the travel sites provide! or just get the right pictures in the first place!!!!
NO!....Why did I do this to myself!

Let me start with the positive: my room was clean; that is all.
The rest is all cons! I don't know why this hotel comes up as being in proximity of downtown in searches, it is not. Location is horrible, it's near the highway, no where near Downtown Denver or public transportation. Not great for people not driving and used to public transportation, I had to uber my way back and worth, was only there for 2 nights. I contemplated changing hotels soon as I got there (you get what you pay for).
It's dingy, old and worn and with interesting characters staying there. Though, it said non-smoking rooms, my floor reeked of cigarette smokes and so did my room. The freaken remote control didn't have a back and was taped up, the TV are early 90's at best, poor image quality.
My room which was on the 4th floor had big windows that fully open, no guard or screens, this is a danger alert for people with children as there were people there with kids and pets (not sure if pets are actually allowed).
So beware and be for worn, save yourself the horror and book something actually in or in the vicinity of downtown Denver, the extra cost is worth it and you won't have to uber or lyft yourself everywhere.
what a dump

-1, I don't know where the hotel got their photos, but obviously they're NOT recent !!!
Totally Gross and Disgusting !!!
I had reserved this room for my Son.
I was just looking for something close to Coors Field, that wasn't too expensive.
He sent me this text ;
It's not very nice. The front desk workers had no clue what was going on, the room smells like smoke. There's broken cabinets, the toilet seat is way too small for the toilet, the shower was dirty and the carpets were really dirty. The people that stay there are mainly construction workers and sketchy people. There was trash everywhere right behind the hotel. The headboard was two smaller headboards rigged together and the bed was nasty.
I was so embarrassed and extremely unimpressed.
I called the hotel to try and straighten things out, with no success.
My Son and his fiancé had to sleep in their car !!!
I emailed the hotel's website and Expedia explaining the situation. It was as if no one cared !
I STILL have not heard from the hotel and have NOT received a refund !
DO NOT STAY HERE !!!
