Not a great experience, really over-priced for what you get which is virtually nothing. The beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately they were painting and upgrading the place but it did reek of paint. The restaurant never seemed to be open, there was an advantage in that there is a shuttle but you have to pay for it. All in all a very tired, sad location. The gardens however were very nice and the two staff members we met were very pleasant.

Rude staff, tired room and NO HOT WATER......

We were only in the hotel for eight hours but the staff did everything they could to make it as unpleasant as possible. When we first got into the room the TV did not work so I picked up the phone to ring reception but it didn't work, I went to reception and some did come to sort the TV. There was no apology for the problem just a disgruntled member of staff unhappy that he was being asked to do his job.

The room in general was in a very poor condition, the basin was cracked, there was laminat missing for the furniture, the towel rail has hanging off the wall, the headboards for the beds were frayed, the toilet didn't flush or would not stop flushing and it sounded like the windows were open with the noise level in the room. I could have put up with all of this but when I got up at 4:30 to have a shower before we set off there was no hot water. Once again I had to walk to reception because the phone didn't work, he said he could hear me but I couldn't hear anything. He said he would go and check on the water and let me know, he came to our room to tell us that there would be hot water in about 30 minuets. We had a transfer booked with the hotel for 5am so this was no help to us. I don't understand why they didn't have the hot water turned on, it must be another example of them cutting corners to save money by turning the hot water off over night.

We left a message with the staff for a manager contacted us via email before our return to the UK to let us know what he was going to do about it, we had booked parking with them as well. We also sent him an email ourselves detailing the issues and asked that he contact us before our return, you guessed it no reply.

We got back and finally got to see the manager who was completely uninterested in the problems, I get the feeling he had heard all of this a lot of times before. He eventually offer half our money back which we took so we could leave. I stayed in a Travel Lodge last year and they had no hot water, the first thing the receptionist said was "we will refund the room" (no need for a manager here just good customer service) and that room didn't have any of the other problems that this room had.

Do yourself a favour and do not book anything with this place, room, parking anything, don't do it.

My word..

What an experience we had.. and not an overly amazing one at that, the service was shocking!! I spoke to 5 different people before getting a proper acknowledgement and even at that that wasnt much. The rooms stunk of smoke, theres pipe work everywhere, spiders everywhere, cobwebs everywhere, bath and shower is rusty.. the ONLY good thing was the jacuzzi bath was relaxing and the beds were comfortable.

On checkout.. the worst experience ive ever had.
Handed the key to the receptionist.. he was on the phone dealing with a booking.. so i waited.. for then a maid looking woman to come to the desk to grab my key and i asked ‘is that it, is that everything?’ She never even looked at me and nodded her head, no smile nothing. Customer service SERIOUSLY needs improving on this placeb however saying that there was a lovely young chinese lady on reception last night and she was a little delight!

Sam :)

Okay for one night

Their website says they offer a shuttle but it doesn’t say where the shuttle pick up location is or that you have to call to be picked up. Since none of that info is on their website we assumed their shuttle pick up would be where all the other shuttle/taxis are. We ended up taking a bus that dropped us off near the hotel for about $2 which is cheaper than what they charge.

The room was clean. We ate pizza there for dinner, it was okay. We paid $13 for the shuttle back since we had to catch an early flight. They don’t drop you off at the terminal, they drop you off in front of the Radisson Blu Hotel so you still have to walk 5-10 mins.

Overall it was okay for the cheap price but the shuttle situation annoyed me since their website makes it seem like a shuttle bus comes every 20 minutes, it does not. I wouldn’t stay more than one night.
