We were a group of 27 people, families with children and elders, who stayed in this place for 4 days/3 nights during Diwali 2017 holidays, and for sure everyone had a very nice time.
One should must visit to lie in the lap of mother nature; relax and rejuvenate; and taste excellent, authentic, never repeating wide spread of food with awesome accompanying condiments.
Majority of the group were vegetarians and the food was rich, healthy, and very, very tasty. The few others who savored non-veg too were of the same opinion. Most of the ladies in the group noted down how the food was cooked and what ingredients were used to bring out this taste. This happened for many of the items served in a meal and it happened during every meal as the menu was entirely different.
Reaching here is very easy and the leading roads are well maintained. The whole property was at our disposal during our stay. Ample parking space for vehicles with large open area for children to run and play, conduct campfire and group games and activities and facilities such as shuttle and table tennis are available. They have a nice collection of books to read too. This place can easily accommodate 45 people.
It is a clean and well maintained place with abundant nature around and everywhere. The dining area sits amidst coffee plantations and a variety of other plants and has scenic views. Also with a neat wash and restroom.
Stay:
1. They have a huge bungalow with 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 large living rooms with ample furniture and sofas to sit, chat, play indoor games, and have fun, and a private dining. This bungalow should be more than 100 years old and there are a lot of flowering plants around the bungalow.
2. Four beautiful cottages amidst coffee plantation with breathtaking views and mesmerizing sounds of nature. Especially, the early morning views are marvelous. The sit-out in the front and a hot coffee there will surely pamper you. This place has more privacy and need to walk a little and climb a few steps from dining and bungalow. Preferably, not for old people.
3. Nice dormitory where large groups can stay with 2 bathrooms and ample furnished space for groups to have lots of fun for sure.
4. A small cosy room decorated in an antique style with a sit out and flowering plants is ideal for newly weds and honeymooners.
Simply put every family in this group had an ideal place to stay of their choice and convenience. Should say it was a unique combo.
All rooms were equipped with emergency lights in case of power failure, modern bathrooms with heater, clean and good house-keeping, mosquito repellents, drinking water, and sufficient power points for chargers.
Food: A cuisine not to be missed.
Service: Admirable. Above 5 stars.
Anand, the owner of this property, guided me right from inquiry to totality of the trip patiently. As it was a large group there were a lot of queries regarding stay, food, specific needs, etc, and everything was well taken care of. Commendable job.
Though the booking happened at least 30 days earlier, he was thoughtful to check upon us a day earlier for our lunch as our booking started from dinner that night. In spite of him having to leave for an important family function the day before our arrival everything was taken care of to perfection. We could not meet him until our return. Definitely, we will missed meeting him in person. There were no excuses or slippages by his team in spite of his absence. Wonderful job by his team.
Sanoop, the manager of this property, whose passion is cooking and agriculture, needs to be appreciated for his excellent work with regards to food, forever answering to queries of the group members, well versed with planning the itinerary during our stay. Special thanks to him.
Anand was kind enough to arrange a vehicle for us to be picked from Kozhikode, which is 80 kms from Wayanad, we reached from Coimbatore via train. He ensured the vehicle was perfect for the group with a super cool driver, Nizam, with exemplary driving skills and knowledgeable with the routes and places for interest. Nizam started coordinating the day before beginning of our trip and was in close touch at least half an hour before reaching Kozhikode.
The personnel in Dhanagiri are friendly and started helping us with luggage and other chores the moment we checked in and until we bid them bye. Service above 5 stars, isn't it not?
Admirable home stay to visit again and certain to recommend undoubtedly.

We had been to Wayanad for a 3 day trip; We had stayed in Dhanagiri Homestay. It is very nice place and you will feel very homely there. The cottages are very spacious for family staying. Food is very delicious and offered so much of spread. Special thanks to Anup and Abhin for offering all the help, round the clock.
Only flip side - this being inside plantations you will have some mosquitoes, so you couldn't keep your windows open in the night. We suggest them have Windows net fixed

The day i payed advance, i was doubtful if the cotteges are really as shown in pics. But we were surprised to find the snaps on web are really same. The food was so homely and open canteen sarrounded by coffee plantation just make u feel u r living ur wish.

If you are looking to experience life deep in nature then you should try this beautiful resort deep inside a coffee plantation in the Wayanad district. Sanoop and his team of attentive employees take great care in looking after you, and the resident chef cooks excellent meals. The villas are spacious and very clean and are set back in the plantation away from any noise except for the songs of birds and frogs. With your own private balcony, you can relax, unwind and enjoy the natural world all around you. Great value for money.

Our first visit to this place was MEMORABLE !!!! The stay was very comfortable and accompanied by the delicious homemade food they served, it was indeed a home away from home.....A special word of thanks to Manager Sanoop, the wonder chef Sainaba and the rest of their team.....looking forward to see you all again !!!!
