What is with the fellow guests?

Absolutely loved this hotel - stunning location, food was amazing and the staff waited on you hand and foot and really went the extra mile to make the stay a great one.

The reason why i have had to give the hotel this rating however is because of the behaviours of the other guests. Like why don't you just mind your own business?! Whenever we were sat in the lobby each night trying to enjoy our evening drinks, fellow guests would stare at us as they walk past us as if we had just murdered a family pet. I was particularly disgusted by an older gentleman who kept staring at my girlfriend whilst we were basking by the pool.

Another older woman told me and my girlfriend to move off a sofa in the bar area so that her party could sit down instead - to which we refused. We paid just as much money as they did to stay at the hotel so why should we give up our seats simply because they're old and we're young?

I thought that due to it being naturally a less child friendly hotel that we could just enjoy a quiet and relaxed holiday but the other guests just made us feel constantly on edge

I'm sorry !

Dream holidays

Beautiful white hotel with very nice waiter/waitress, different location to swim (3 pools) + a wonderful beach all equipped. One main restaurant with buffet with many varieties of dishes and Greek wines. Two other restaurants, one Italian that we tried for a romantic dinner. Wonderful menu, romantic decoration and a stunning view on the pool & the Aegean Sea. The second one is a Greek fish restaurant. A large variety of fish and sea food grilled on a big BBQ great atmosphere and super service. We can recommend this hotel for couple or families.

Amazing hotel and views with brilliant staff

Just come back from a week here with my husband and can say it is one of the best holidays we have been on we stayed in a deluxe bungalow with sea view which was really clean and modern and cleaned every day. The buffet food was brilliant with plenty of choice every day and the Italian and Greek restaurant were lovely but have to be booked days in advance. There are plenty of cocktails to choose from on all inclusive and bar staff were great... well apart from one young girl who thought if you didn't tip her every night she would avoid serving you after tipping her one night. .. but she was the only member of staff in the whole hotel I could critisise as the rest were brilliant. Will be returning here.

Great but not fantastic

georginaem2017 on 15/06/2017 14:25

My sister and I stayed here in early June (the hotel is around 45 minutes drive from the airport and around 12 minutes drive to town), in a comfort room (not recently refurbished- disappointingly) on an all inclusive package. The hotel is quite widely spread out and is very casual, so don't bother packing high heels if you are thinking of coming here (what a waste of suitcase space that was!). The service by the pools and in the bars was always friendly (although they have a habit of forgetting drinks orders) and the receptionists are very efficient. Overall I would say it was a great hotel, but not fantastic; this is because of the food.
The hotel has one main buffet style restaurant and two other restaurants (one Greek and one Italian). We ate at the greek restaurant most days for lunch (it was right next to our favourite swimming pool), it was BBQ of lamb, chicken and pork and it was fantastic. Excellent quality of meat, cooked really well and very tasty. However, it was the same thing every day, so whilst it was lovely, a bit of variety would have made it better. In our all inclusive leaflet which we received on our first day, it stated that you should book a table at the Italian restaurant at least 24 hours in advance, we tried to do so but were told it was booked up for the next 4 nights. Unfortunately they are not open for lunch and only do one sitting in the evening. This was hugely disappointing, as after a week of grilled lamb, I would have killed for a pizza. This brings me to the buffet, for breakfast it was excellent and there was a huge variety of food. So if you wanted a full english, crepes, yoghurt, fruit or cereal it was all there. Lunch and dinner were the same thing, a huge variety of foods, but pretty much the same things every day. The only thing which is different is the "show cooking" which was fantastic, one night it was huge grilled prawns, another it was leg of lamb it was lovely. However, if you were late to dinner (as in past 7.30pm) then the food which was just freshly cooked would have been sitting under a heat lamp for a while and would no longer be as good.
My advise overall would be to make sure you get a refurbished room, eat in Kos town at least twice, book the Italian restaurant on the day that you arrive and don't stick around for the live entertainment.
