Location spot on! All you need for a night or two in leeds.

We had travelled from Edinburgh to stay at the Discovery Hotel in Leeds had a great weekend location of Hotel was excellent 2 mins from Train Station and very central for shopping etc. The Hotel did Continental Breakfast and was very good. The Staff were very friendly especially David who made us feel very welcome.

Was travelling to Leeds by train for a gig at the First Direct Arena , this hotel is located right opposite the train station and just around the corner from the city centre , a 15 minute stroll to the Leeds First Direct Arena , I found the staff to be very helpful and the overall condition etc of the hotel to be very good , I have seen some negative reviews about the level of noise from outside , I think you have to be aware of the location and expect this , granted the owners could update the room windows etc , I normally sleep with ear plugs anyway so this did not cause me any problems . I found the room to be a good size and very clean and tidy . The breakfast option is continental buffet but a short stroll outside will get you a cooked breakfast in many locations including a Whetherspoons in the train station , also found the Wi-Fi to work very well and plenty of hot water in the bathroom , I would have no problem staying here again

We arrived and were directed to the nearby car park for which they provide you a discount in the morning.
The staff were great and the room had a double and a proper single bed for my daughter. This is rare nowadays!!
The room had enough space and was fairly up together. Comfortable and the right temperature.
The hotel is located close to a train station.
Would stay there again no problem

Firstly the welcome when we arrived was poor a security guard checked us in at reception and he was clearly not happy in his work just said "£50 please".
The hotel is in a good location and we only paid £50.00 for a last min booking - the room was small and it was not very clean in places and the tv was very small see my picture - i would not stay here again even though it was very cheap - i guess you get what you pay for.... this hotel is not for me.
