The room was good enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The food was very good and diverse. The housekeeping could be better. It is very close to the parks and we enjoyed the walk around the lake. The kids enjoyed playing with the ducks.

Fast and friendly service from the minute we arrived. Travelled as a group, 3 adults and 6 children, children were brought into compass club section and offered a drink while we checked in. Great selection of food for both breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner. Well worth paying a little extra for the facilities and service in the Compass Club section.

It was all perfect but for this :
TV: there was Disney channel in english, spanish, german but not in italian.
Bathroom without a bidet it's not acceptable for italian travellers expecting to go in a "dream hotel". setup some rooms with it and spread this great habit!

We just got back from a great stay at the Newport Bay. We stayed in a Compass Club Family room which I would highly recommend. It's a little more prices but the benefits make the stay work out cheaper. The breakfast was great and the happy hour between 4-5 was also great. There was plenty of food for our 2 yr old and 6 month old. We saved a ton by not having to buy breakfast and dinner in the parks or Disney village.
If there was one downside it was the housekeeping. It was really bad. Our room was cleaned really late every day, fresh towels not provided despite putting the used towels in the bath as requested. The sink and glasses were never cleaned. It appears only the beds were made and toiletries provided.
Despite this we would stay there again.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and daughter. Check in was quick and given a choice of family room. We were given a quiet family room on the first floor way past the swimming pool. It was a long walk to our room which was fine as it's a massive hotel. The tap in the bathroom leaked my husband reported it and it was fixed that day. The room was cleaned and beds made everyday.
We had breakfast in the hotel everyday as part of our Full Board Plus package, lots of choice at the buffet and food was lovely. Staff were all very friendly and we ate in both restaurants in the hotel for breakfast. Had dinner in the Cape Cod restaurant the night we arrived there was plenty of choice but as myself & my daughter are fussy eaters there wasn't much choice to us.
Every morning there was a character meet just off reception. The cast members at this were all lovely and had great interactions with us.
Only downfall is there is only 1 lift to take you down the restaurants and exit to the park and as the hotel is massive there is often a large queue for the lift.
