Happened to park outside this hotel and were more than delighted with the excellent lunch and the panoramic view of the sea. We shared the smoked salmon starter, the fish platter main course and a chocolate brownie with ice cream. All were excellent and Martin provided excellent and attentive service. The fact that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary made the whole experience a day to remember.

Although the hotel had a good breakfast, some friendly staff at the front desk, a generously sized room and comfortable bed... both showers in the room were broken, and they had not noticed. They must have been broken for some time and no staff had taken action, which leads me to wonder what else is not taken care of. When we notified the hotel they sellotaped the shower head to the stand (on out suggestion) and said that maintenance would work on it tomorrow. It was never fixed. Staff - please take a look at the shower ehads in room 126 - they're kind of dangerous.

Very nice huge rooms with spectacular views, polite and helpful staff. Plenty of comfortable seating areas to enjoy the sea views. Quite a steep hill to climb from the sea front if you struggle with mobility.
What's not to like about this sweet little hotel.

our trip was for my husbands 71 birthday booked for March 17th for 5 nights..booked hotel in Jan 2017...when we arrived reception couldnt find key..and took us to apartment a street above the Hotel...given i had chose this place for sea view fro lounge n access to beach I was disappointed...the apartment were up a step hill or a flight of may stairs from pavement..given the hotel blurb states if u have a disability book ground floor .....anyway smelly n I mean serious problems with drains...freezing...TLC needed window catches didnt work..terrace door hard to open etc Manager wouldnt talk to us...we left n stayed in another place..Thank goodness we knew the area would have hated to stay in this place for more...checked out pronto and had to discuss our complaint via a receptionist although manager was behind the wall n spoke English..oo n the beach was Filthy...shame it could have been great

What a charming hotel in an idyllic location.Very professional and courteous staff,nothing too much trouble.Excellent rooms ,very spacious ,nicely furnished and all amenities.Lovely terrace with views of harbour,lulled to sleep in the very comfortable bed by the sound of the waves.
The food was excellent both dinner,extensive a la carte ,and a very substantial breakfast.All meals served in a very attractive dining room overlooking the sea.
All in all an idyllic stay. One word of caution ! If you are in the main hotel you are given a front door key.If you are in the charming terraced rooms on the other side of the road as we were then if you stay in the bar after eleven out of season ,you are locked in and have to call an emergency number to be let out!!
