On arrival we were offered a choice between a room with morning sun or afternoon sun. Both rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. A short walk into town found us a restaurant and in the morning the breakfast was great. The landlady is friendly and helpful so I recommend this hotel and would willingly return.

Located a 5 minute walk from the center of town, this is a little gem hiding in the Spanish countryside. With hammocks and wine a plenty, you can sit in the garden area and enjoy the weather, or walk into the town to enjoy the local scene. I would go out of my way again just to stay in this spot again! Owners are also extremely friendly! HIGHLY recommend!

It isn't fair to grade this charming, family run hotel as a 2 star but it doesn't offer some of the services that would get a much higher rating such as a pool or staffed bar.
What it did offer was a peaceful location, delightful rooms and clean and well kept bathroom We had a marvellous view from our balcony and the sun room on the ground floor was homely and well furnished and the garden was rustic with tables and hammock.
There was a mini bar in the room and an honesty bar near reception. We were offered a welcome drink on arrival and the owners gave us a bottle of the local wine to take home with us when we left after our two night stay. How kind. Breakfast was continental in style - croissants, fruit, cereal, yoghurts and the delicious local bread which you split in half and lay pulped fresh tomato on top with olive oil and salt and pepper. Delicious!

Service really friendly & helpful.
To my shame I spilt nailvarnish on the bath mat. I was told "these things happen" & was not allowed to pay for it.
Our room & bathroom were smallish but fine. The beds soooo comfy that we slept really well.
We had a front 1st floor room with balcony & chairs. There was little traffic noise occasionally but as the beds were so good that was not a problem.
Breakfast, with many local specialities is not included in the room price but is worth every cent. The buffet is constantly being refilled.
It is only about 5 mins walk to the historic centre.
We HIGHLY recommend this little gem.

A clean, friendly hotel, family business that makes you feel at home.
If you travel to Covarrubias, this is the place to stay.
While you're there, ask Alberto (owner/manager) about his winery. (He'll probably invite you to visit.)
