Our room was excellent, very clean and had everything you required for 5 days. Everything you needed for cooking and plenty of cutlery, bowls etc.
Paul and Michelle were very helpful and obliging. We had 2 apartments (8 people) and everyone had a great time. Close walking distance to beach and shops.
Would recommend these apartments to everyone. Great Holiday

Excellent, close to everything, lovely appartment

Arrived in Mooloolaba in school hols with no accom. booking. Dockside had 1 vacancy for 2 nites, we took it. The apartment was spotless & being on the ground floor we had a front & back courtyard. Everything you might need was in the appt. & very stylish & comfortable. Very short walk to food court & the bowling club & just a block from the main promenade. Loved it & would go back like a shot. The managers of the block were helpful & welcoming.

Great family get away. Added an extra family member at the last minute with no issues. A good quality foldaway bed was provided. Rooms were light, clean and fresh, plenty of kitchen plates, dishes and cutlery to either prepare your own meals or walk the short distance to the beach and local restaurants. Pool facilities were great, beach towels were available at a cost but were of a good quality. Fans and air conditioning is great and no question was an issue for the staff and we had a bathroom light that blew, this was fixed within a couple of hours of being reported. We would definitely book and stay with Dockside Apartments again if the opportunity arose again.

Excellent first family holiday experience

I would highly recommend staying at Dockside Apartments Mooloolaba the apartments were nice and spacious, lovely and clean with great facilities. It's only a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach, shops and restaurants. Sea life was just down the road which was perfect for our kiddies! It was so easy for us to jump on a bus to go into the sunshine plaza or to the Australia zoo with the apartments being situated so close to bus stops. Last but not least the staff were amazing, helping us with organising shuttle buses to and from the airport and helped us with any other questions we had. A week was definitely not long enough here and we will definitely be back next year. 😁😁😁

Disappointing and dull accommodation

We recently stayed in Room 5. We were overall very disappointed on many counts and this is the first booking I have made via Booking.com that I have rated so poorly. Not all rooms are of same standard of furnishing or freshness and honestly Apt. 5 did not really live up to expectations based on photos on the website. The self contained apartment was tired to the point of looking quite grubby. It was gloomy and we needed to have lights on all day. The small private yard would have been nice to use except the chairs were covered in rust and the seat cushions mouldy so unable to enjoy this area which was also inconvenient to access via the main bedroom in a two bed apartment. The couch had dirt and food debris in the gaps between the cushions. Toilet is off the corridor close to the kitchen and had no window and no fan, the inside of the small vent in the toilet had thick layers of dust. The bathroom also had no vent and the steam was unbearable after a short shower. There was mould around the top of the bath which is a bath/shower arrangement. We specifically asked for a ground floor room due to traveling with older people to then be confronted with the challenge of them having to negotiate this configuration when bathing which was very disappointing. Plus bathroom ceiling is really low and problematic if you are a taller person. The ironing board was ripped. The door looked like it had been removed off the small laundry which leaked but was repaired by a plumber during our stay when they came to resolve the issue of water leaking from apartment above onto the kitchen. This was responded to quickly which was appreciated but delayed our going out as water had to be turned off. There was dirt built up in the track of the sliding door out onto patios. Pillows were like pancakes. Single beds were just a mattress and base and no bed head to rest against and had to pillows then had to lean up against curtains. Wardrobe in second bedroom had 3 fixed hangers so limited ability to store any clothes so lived out of suitcase for our stay. Upon arrival signs in apartment kitchen requested dishes be cleaned and put away or a fee would be incurred. Bathroom had tiny sign advising that is towels had makeup, tanning product etc. a fee would be charged. Could not find mention of this in terms/conditions agreed to at time of booking. Location was ok, but there are many other apartments closer to the esplanade. Really unhappy about all of the above and impact this had on our stay.
