Very nice autumn stay !
This hotel has a perfect location in a walcking distance to Alexander Dock and One Bus station. The excellent English breakfast was included in a small breakfast room with a nice view to river. Clean and spacious room.

Stayed here for 4nts on a recent city break.
Hotel staff were friendly throughout, rooms are small; however perfectly adequate as we only slept n showered in ours.
Bed was very comfy.
If you are considering booking ask for a room overlooking the water as you will have a view of the docks, we had this. The other view, I believe, is of a busy main road.
The place is spotlessly clean throughout with fresh towels, toiletries, teas, coffees etc replenished every day (if required).
Breakfast is a steal at £7.75pp for a cooked option which also gives you unlimited continental choice too!!
Breakfast was delicious - we ate here every morning.
We ate dinner in the hotel once during our stay, food was lovely and again very reasonably priced.
The location is this hotel’s selling point, with easy walking distance to the docks and shopping areas.
Free parking & wi-fi are also available - another plus for The Dolby.
We are delighted with this place and will definitely consider returning when we come back to this wonderful city!!

The world's tiniest shower, but it did the job. Clean room, complimentary bathroom products, great breakfast, fast and efficient check-in and a great bar! Excellent central location for Liverpool attractions. Staff all lovely.

Hotel is in a great location and has a car park, which is a bonus. Good service from staff and breakfast good. Rooms are a bit on the small side but ok just for sleeping in. Downside was a tiny bathroom, if you are on the large side you will really struggle in the shower, other than that our 2 night stay was enjoyable.

We stayed at the Dolby for 2 nights and found it to be very comfortable. The service was very good and the food was ok. What you might cook for yourself sort of quality. It is perfectly placed for exploring the docks as it is in Kings Dock which is next door to the famous Albert Docks. My only criticism was that it was very warm in the hotel as the heating was on (it being November) but it was too warm in the dining area and was uncomfortable.
