I stayed here for one night on a trip to the Black Hills. It was cheaper by a few dollars than other hotels in the area and I found out why. When i checked in it was obvious it was in need of modernization. When I entered my room it had an odd smell that I couldn't identify. The hotel was almost empty but I could hear others walking and talking above my room. ( I believe it was the owners who reside in the hotel) The room was reasonably clean, the TV was old and the lack of updating of an older motel is taking it's toll. I gave it an average rating because of the cheap price. I would not stay here again. I would pay a few extra dollars and stay at a more up-to-date hotel. I would not recommend.

The motel was clean, friendly staff, inexpensive, and a basic comfortable place to stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful....this was exactly what we were looking for...I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Breakfast was included in the room charge.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Mount Rushmore. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. The motel is clean and well located. Breakfast was basic but good. Easy walk to town. Would recommend.

This was a quiet, clean and comfortable place to stay. We didn't need all the extra amenities a chain hotel offers so decided to stay at this inexpensive family owned hotel. So glad we did. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this family owned business.

Room was exactly what we were looking for ~ a clean place to sleep. Management was polite and helpful. Room was your typical room beds were clean, comfortable, pillows a little hard for my taste but it was fine. Bathroom is small but the shower was nice. Free Wifi and Television worked great.
Breakfast was simpler than most continental breakfasts but for the price of the room it was just fine. We stayed two nights in order to visit Crazy Horse, Rushmore, Badlands one day and the wind caves the next. It was quiet, great location, could not ask for more.
