You Must Be Joking
Bill Hon 02/09/2013 21:17We'd booked a room for two nights at Domaine Montebello based on website photos and a decent review from the usually reliable Fodor's guide. We arrived to find a manager who initially couldn't find my reservation, peeling exterior paint, a strong smell of something bad in the office, more disinfectant smells in the room, and shabby, outdated furnishings. On top of that, the credit card processing machine was down and she was insisting on cash payments, directing us to an ATM in town. We simply didn't feel comfortable staying there and would just say that the photos shown on the site are extremely misrepresentative and the "customer service" is non-existent.

littlemissceliacon 12/11/2012 04:27We rented the cabin for the groomsmen to stay at when we got married at Chateau Montebello. It was perfect for our needs. We also had a bbq wedding rehearsal and the the lovely owners provided additional tables and seating for us on the patio.
Great value, lovely accommodations and friendly service.
