A friend booked me in this hotel.
Not the best hotel i've ever been. Four rooms, one toilet/shower cubicle the size of a matchbox.
Checked out the soonest possible time!
I do not recommend this hotel to my friends, family. Not anybody.
No. Just no!
Sauna.

So me and to other friends stayed here for two nights. Overall we had an unplessant experience. The hotels location is good, you can walk almost anywere you want, and it has a lot of restuarants and shops nearby.
But, and there is a huge but.
First of all, they do not accept any for of credit card payment, which we were not informed about until we were checking in. When i opened my wallet to see if i had enough to pay, the man behind the counter, and I kid you not, reached for my wallet for whatever reason.
Second, and this is really bad. Rome is a city which gets a little warm during the summer. When the hotel is located on the fifth floor, logic dictates that the hotel in general will be warm. When we entered the room we were pleased to see the hotel had air condition, and didnt give it much more thought, until we got home that is. Our room was piping hot, and when we go down to the reception to ask how the AC. IT COSTS 8 EUROS the man in the reception says.
I think that speaks for itself.
Bad experience, but then again, you get what you pay for.
Wouldnt recomend this hotel.
You get what you pay for

Stayed here for almost a week. Adequate hotel for people who only use their room for rest and sleep, where you get what you pay for.
It was a bit difficult to find, since the hotel is on the 5th floor of an apartment building. The elevator looks scary, but it runs smoothly. Was a bit unlucky when checking in; probably the only one who didn't speak English sat in the reception at check-in. After some hand gestures and so on, we managed to check in as well as paying the tourist fee right away.
We stayed in a room on the same floor as the reception and had our own bathroom. It is not a sound-proof room, and people live in all the buildings around, so bring earplugs if you are weary of noise. The room was simple and old, but clean. They used a lot of ammonia or bleach the first days, so it unfortunately smelled like cat pee right for some time after we came back for the day.
The shower didn't have a stable temperature and the pressure wasn't amazing, so you had to turn the knob back and forth, but what can you expect in a 2-star hotel? Got clean towels every day, but you might not get a refill of soap/shampoo, so bare that in mind.
Didn't try the breakfast, so can't comment on that.
They only have one set of keys, so you have to leave your key when you go out. It works fine, as there is always someone in reception, and you should always lock you suitcase anyway.
It became quite hot, and after a few days we found out that the air condition wasn't on. We got the remote, but the whole ting is just a joke. The fan isn't powerful enough to combat the heat from outside as well as the heat stored in the walls. Better to drop it really.
So for short: fine to live in if you plan to actually experience Rome and not a hotel room. Friendly staff where everyone except one speaks English. Old, but clean. Wifi works fine. Unfortunately gets way too hot even with open windows, and on the last day we saw two insects that could have been bed bugs (not quite sure since we didn't find bites on us, or anything in the sheets or mattress), but we froze everything afterwards just in case.
Leave My Key!!

This is a small-outdated hotel that should not be listed on travel websites. No one wants to stay here. The room is incredibly small, when you take a shower you have to climb over the toilet and shut yourself in a coffin like stall. It cost 8€ extra a day for the remote to the air conditioning unit, the windows have no screens, but they do have a metal shutter (real comforting) and the Wi-Fi is spotty at best. The thing that upset my husband and me the most was that anytime you leave the hotel the staff requires you to leave your room key with the desk. They do not trust the customer with the key to the room they paid for, but the hotel expects the customer to fully trust them with their luggage when they leave the room. We checked in, left the room - leaving our key at the front desk - but forgot the huge wooden key ring in the room, we got a couple blocks from the room and I did not feel comfortable leaving my purse so we went back to the room. We were not gone for 10 minutes and they had been in our room to retrieve the key ring, instead of asking for it when we left. The next day we went out and came back to the room for a map, and the front desk did not want us to enter the room, because the maid was about to clean it. I told them I was going into the room whether they wanted me to or not, so they finally gave me the key to the room my husband and I had paid for. More hassle than any room is worth, especially in a rundown building in a shady neighborhood.
close to Termini Train Station

Hotel is situated 10 minutes walking to Termini train station which is very convenient.
However it is very old, and needs some renovation. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. The Bathroom was very small, no space to move, and also not clean. Need to maintain cleanliness more.
However I just stayed one night, so it was a cheap solution for one night stay.
