The Doria is simply not a luxury boutique hotel in fact it hardly functions as a hotel feeling more like a transient B&B.
In concise terms (which is extremely difficult given the number of areas of failure):-
- Kas center is a 35 minute walk from the hotel - not the 10 minutes the hotel advertise on its web site.
- Sun beds are rented by the day to passing visitors - thus removing any sense of quiet exclusivity. Photos on the hotel web site show a small number of sun beds around the pool the reality is row upon row of sun beds; anything but exclusive!
- Loud "pumping" base music pervades, making it impossible to relax – even audible on the sun bathing deck of your room. Never have I experienced such music or volume in a “luxury” hotel; far from relaxing
- Six days out of seven we had no hot water whatsoever in the evening!!!
- The attitude of the staff was surly lacking in any customer skills.
-The Management were totally indifferent to the needs of their guests
We have travelled a great deal in Turkey and throughout all these travels have never looked forward to a holiday’s end, always feeling the need for just a few more days. I could not wait to leave the Doria.

It was a great experience actually, i'll definitely come back and stay at this extraordinary hotel. Everything was perfect, the sea, the room and foods were great! Much better place than the photos on web. Thank you so much for the perfect service.

In a town with so many great swimming spots, this one near the new marina stands out for it's modern decor, extra comfortable chez lounge beach chairs, clean facilities, gorgeous pool, clean pebble beach, and creative (but pricey) drink list. The staff is attentive but not overbearing. I've never eaten here, but the food looks light and fresh. Definitely plan on spending several hours relaxing here.

We could not even go there and manager mustafa told us he cannot give our money back even though there is a coup attempt and planes donot fly!!!way to go!!!! Whata dishonest place!! Will never visit and go there this is a total disaster!! Got cheated big time

The most striking thing about this location is the beautiful sea and how close you are to it in your room - wake up, walk outside and dive into the warm blue sea....amazing. The rooms are very good and the facilities are all pretty high standard. Service was very good and attention to detail exceptional for Turkey - a credit to the Owner/Manager Musatffer. Food is good but not great - could be improved, but if you choose simple options it does the trick. Some good foreign wine options - try the Jaffelin Pinot, very good..
All in all this represent all I look for in a totally relaxed and chilled environment, we will be back.
