Conformable stay
ongtyjon 18/11/2017 01:59Stay in this hotel in Oct-2017 while driving from Abashiri to Niseko. Good location, parking is just next to the hotel, and enter by the side door (600 Yen per night). Checkin is smooth, staff are friendly and helpful, introducing us to the area around the hotel. room is comfortable and spacious enough.
The ramen serve at 9.30pm as supper is very good and delicious. Shopping mall (AEON) and train station is just 10-15 min walk from the main street which has a lot of restaurants, behind the main street is a walking street (Showa Dori) which has a lot of shops, drinking houses, so we walked to AEON and walk back via the walking street. There is a 7-11 across the street from the hotel, so you can get anything you need from there.
Breakfast is simple but good, they even have grill scallop.
Overall a very nice and pleasent stay here.

Chuzaaon 14/09/2017 16:31The Hotel Dormy Inn chain is a relatively inexpensive accommodation option in many medium sized cities in Japan. I understand many of them feature “onsen” or hot spring on its top floor as “public bath.” Because of this arrangement, rooms are equipped only with toilet and shower.
The room was spartan and size small. In Asahikawa, the hotel offers only breakfast, but their service and pricing didn’t appeal to us. For dinner, there are many restaurant options near the hotel.
Parking process is time-consuming as they only have a “parking tower” which is basically a mechanical car storage. An attendant have to receive and release your car as required.
Great, clean property in fantastic location!
Sarah Zon 07/09/2017 22:12My husband and I had a lovely stay in Asahikawa thanks to a great night's sleep at Dormy Inn. The rooms, while small, had every amenity needed for a restful stay, including onsen clothes and blackout curtains. The upstairs onsen is really well done, and impeccably clean. It was neat to see city views from the outdoor tub!
Breakfast is great, especially the local melon and Japanese grilled station.
Good value & pleasant stay
Muthuuu Mon 07/09/2017 09:16The hotel is located roughly 10-15 mins walk from JR station. If you drive, parking entrance is on the side street. You will need to drive into a small street next to the hotel, turn left twice then you'll find entry to the lot on you left. From there you can use the back door of the hotel.
Check in was quick and fuss free. Staff gave us a small map of the area. As it was friday night, most restaurants were fully booked. We came back to the hotel empty stomach. The reception lady was kind to place a phone call to reserve seat for us at a Japanese restaurant across the street which turned out to be very good.
Expect a small room. We booked for queens bed. There was enough space to open up just one luggage at a time. Room is very simple but clean.
Best part that we enjoy were the complimentary ramen and the onsen.
This was probably the third if not fourth time we booked yourselves into this brand for its convenient location and its good price/value ratio. Recommend.
Comfortable stay at Dormy Inn!
Mr_Tan7on 27/08/2017 05:58First time staying at Dormy Inn and it was a great experience. They also serve their signature ramen from 2130 onwards as supper. The breakfast selection was good as they had grilled scallop and you can make your own Kaisen Don. Since it's melon season, they even have melon slices for the guests during breakfast. 👍
