Spotlessly clean, lovely location. Pretty near perfect!

We stayed here for three nights. We arrived around dusk and Vi met me at the door. We quickly found our room which was delightful. Spacious enough, it was lovely and cosy and the bed was comfortable. The adjoining bathroom continued the excellent quality with a large bath and shower. All completely perfectly clean. Guests (we were the only ones) have use of a lounge and a conservatory and breakfast is provided in the dining room. It appears that Vi and John work well as a team - we weren't sure who did the cooking but John served breakfast with a friendly good morning and a fetching apron. It really couldn't have been better. Good value at £80 per night and puts some other properties to shame. Not to be missed.

From the first Jon and Vie made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful comfy beds, large and spacious. Breakfast was scrumptious, hosts could Not have done better. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and brilliant B&B with superb hosts

This was a last minute booking for our trip to Cornwall but it really lived up to its description... The room was a superior double with en suite bathroom and shower. It was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Care and attention to detail was present in the provisions of tea, coffee, biscuits and water which was much appreciated.
We were made very welcome by our hosts John and Vi who provided wholesome tasty breakfasts with delicious home made preserves.Do ask for the Damson jam its very yummy...
The farmhouse is an attractive, well kept, cosy place with a beautiful conservatory lounge and delightful gardens.It is in beautiful surroundings on the outskirts of the village and a short drive from Launceston which has good road connections . From this location you can travel along the north coast and the south coast is only a short drive away.There are several places to eat out in the evening within 6 miles of Dorset Farm.
Our stay was enhanced by our excellent hosts and we would highly recommend Dorset Farm as an idyllic place to escape to.

All the best you could expect from a B&B. Clean & tidy room (#3) with modern en-suite shower, home cooked breakfast from local produce and home made jam, delightful hosts, great guests (not guaranteed) in gorgeous surroundings. Would recommend Jon & Vi's B&B to anyone staying in this area and look forward to returning to explore more of North Cornwall.

The room was spotless and tastefully decorated. Comfortable twin beds. Lovely shower room. Tea, coffee/decaf and herbal teas+ biscuits and water all provided in room.
The location is quiet and peaceful. Guest can use the beautiful conservatory that over looks the garden,great for watching the birds.
Breakfast, first rate. Choice of cereals and fresh fruit. Breakfast sourced from local suppliers with tasty bacon and sausage on offer. We enjoyed sitting around the table with other guests, far more enjoyable than sitting at individual tables.
Jon and Vi are thoughtful and considerate hosts.
Good pubs serving huge meals with in a few miles (ask Jon for directions) or try the fish and chips at Francine's on Race Hill in Launceston.
Great base to have for touring around North Cornwall/Devon. Best B&B we have ever stayed in.
