Let me start with the positive, note ONE positive, the breakfast buffet was outstanding and the restaurant staff were both friendly and excellent.
I stayed at this "dump" on August 23 ( I waited to write the review until I felt less hostile and completely disappointed). This is without a doubt the worst Hilton stay I've ever had. The place was filthy. I checked in after 5 pm and there were piles, yes piles, of laudndry in every hallway. Not a sheet or single towel on the floor but piles you had to walk around. The ceiling tiles above the entry to my room were damaged and debris littered the floor. The carpet in the hallways looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. The towel rack fell off the wall when I hung up my face towel.
Check out was slow despite no line, but at least the front desk printer wasn't working no no hard copy receipt (required for my expense report).
I wish I'd been more frugal and stayed at the nearby Hampton (I'm a Hilton Honors Diamond) and saved some money.

Our visit last weekend was very disappointing. While the room quality was good, we had to change rooms 3 times over the course of our three day stay because of no heat. We also reported a leak in the bathroom toilet. We returned the second day to clean towels thrown on the bathroom sink (dirty towels not removed); beds still unmade and 59 degree room temp. The manager and front desk folks did what they could to accommodate us, but there seems to be a systemic problem with this hotel. It's unlikely I will choose Doubletree for my next visit.

I attended a seminar last Wednesday at this hotel. The best surprise was the Vegetarian Meal I received which was outstanding. First time I really have received a lunch that was a great chef creation. Healthy and so tasty!! Great Job!!

After we checked into our room, the room temperature was 59 degrees. We increased the number on the thermostat and left for the evening. Upon returning, our room was still 59 degrees. The front desk gave us another room and it was the exact same situation! We found out from the front desk that there is no one from maintenance on the premises in the evening. We finally got placed in another room in another wing of the hotel. Other travelers were having bathtub drainage issues in their rooms and were requesting room changes. I was very disappointed in this hotel. The rooms are worn and not very clean. Really needs some extensive cleaning.The beds looked like they were made by children. The bedskirts were very wrinkled and crooked. The good aspect of this hotel was the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and efficient - checking frequently to see if we needed anything. Great breakfast buffet!!

TV was not in working order all night long. Engineering came up to look at it and never got back with me on what was going on. He did get TBS to come in and out. The next morning I didn't get any channels. They did get the TV working on the 2nd day. Housekeeping staff was rude.
