When I Checked in i was made to pay for the room, got to the room and was given a city view but I paid extra for water views and never got them! I came here with my 2 children for the anniversary or their dad passing away, thought the distraction would do them good, well these clowns ruined it!! No working tv, lights not working, rude staff and was ripped off... what more can you ask for!!!

A great location, this hotel is within a short walking distance to all Cairns has to offer. The airport is a short taxi ride ($20-$25). Clean, comfortable. The front desk staff are very helpful. Great views from the front of the hotel. The one issue was the quality of wifi.

Stayed here while in town for work for a few days. I knew it was going to be good when I was given a warm cookie on check in 😁
Room was very nice (clean and spacious), staff were friendly and there are barramundi in the pool the lobby.
Price was quite cheap for the quality of the hotel.
Gym doesn't have a lot in it but there is enough to have a work out.

We stayed for three nights. First impression was good - hotel staff were professional and the lobby and courtyard are very open and airy.
We booked a room with water view, which was great. The room was fine, but the bathroom was extremely small and dated.
The pool area was nice.
We would stay here again. It's a nice property within walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants.

Comfy and clean always a pleasure to stay at Double tree Hilton Cairns. Great location a short walk away from shops and great food. If your clostaphobic like me you will realy appreciatve the glass lifts.
