The staff is extremely helpful and caring. The rooms were clean and had all the comforts to make our stay comfortable.We ate breakfast in the dining room and the food was exceptional. I think the staff is probably the friendliest most professional staff that has ever assisted me in our travels.

The visit was good,front desk staff was wonderful coming in and going out,the restaurant staff was friendly and fast, the food was delicious,a home feeling, our room was nice looking,but housekeeping was lacking, didn’t vacuum and didn’t wipe down bathroom sink

Had a business meeting here. It definitely was more elegant than many of the other hotels this group had chosen in the past. I was pleasantly surprised! It almost felt a little decadent to be staying here for a business meeting, but the price was certainly well within our per diem rate. I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a hotel or meeting space in the Charlottesville area.

Stayed recently for UVA Parents weekend. Requested upgrade to king room but didn’t get it, even with diamond status. Stayed in a double bed room. Beds were basic but comfortable. There were two dead flies in the bathroom upon arrival. Our room did not get housekeeping services on day two of three, which was disappointing. The tavern area is cozy with good service. The outside patio looked pretty, wish there was some outdoor furniture. .
Very disappointed with the breakfast service. My husband and I waited for fifteen minutes to be waited on and ended up getting up to ask the waitstaff at their station to be served. The chef making omelets was rude and snippy because the omelet line was long.
We are loyal Hilton customers, but would try another hotel in Charlottesville.

Stayed overnight at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel in Charlottesville Virginia after watching UVA women’s soccer games. Great games and great hotel!!! Great location - close to campus and airport. Shuttle service. Beautiful hotel!!! Will stay again!
