This hotel is fine if you need to be in the area of Culver City or near LAX. Otherwise, it's a pretty long way to get to other parts of LA. There's nothing else really of interest nearby...no walkable restaurants, either. Not inexpensive, either, but decent for the price.

The rooms were filthy. Visible debris on floor which stayed throughout the stay. Do you ever vaccuum the flooors? Rooms are very tired and beat up. Gym is really small and overcrowded. I've stayed here severa times as it's close to my office and have never had a great experience but this time was the last straw. I will stay elsewhere going forward.

It has a great location near biking and running trails. Walking distance to the Mall is a plus. If you have business within a mile of this Hotel I would recommend it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The gym is great.

Our stay was very nice. The hotel was clean and the staff extremely professional. The gentleman in the restaurant that allowed me to purchase some fresh fruit for my husband who wasn't feeling well went above and beyond in helping me out. A true knight in shining armor. The only downside is the noise from the 405. The hotel chain should consider better sound proofing of the windows.

My room felt spacious, comfortable and homey. I loved that the hotel has happy hour on the weekdays. I also loved the waiting staff, especially Asia Ricks. She made sure my food was served in a timely manner along with recommending local places for me to visit in the area.
Overall, I had a great experience at DoubleTree. Definitely recommend.
