Came up for a friends' weekend. Doubletree was extremely conveniently located. All Front Desk staff was very helpful and very cordial... especially Thomas. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and offered suggestions of places to go to. Thank you for all you did!!

Check in and check out was smooth. Good location & decent breakfast facility. But room we got was too small with no view. Décor was dated and overall hotel need uplift. We booked considering other Doubletree Hilton experience but it was laid down. Though staff was very supportive and cooperative.

I thought this was a good value, walking distance of quite a bit, reasonable rates. We planned on using the valet parking, but a concrete truck right in front of the hotel nixed that, no place to pull over. We had just passed a lot on the corner & went back to it (saved $20!). The room are SMALL, (I saw one through an open door, a single bed shoe-horned wall to wall) but we weren't in the room much, 2 Yankee games in 2 days and out. It was a good value, but they weren't on their game that weekend. No hot water Sunday morning, no concession for it, cold, rubbery pancakes on the buffet (tho the coffee & juice were great), no glasses in the room (brought quickly & cheerfully), elevators can be slow, business center N/A. It's a Hilton, though, friendly staff, clean rooms. The Yankees scored 30 runs that weekend, must be our lucky hotel.

Great experience in NY, and Broadway is the best. The hotel staff took very good care of us during our visit, and you can't beat the location. I travel regularly, and I would recommend this hotel for business or a family trip.

To start with, if you want to stay in the heart of Times Square, this is the hotel for you. You walk out the hotel door, and you are right in the middle of the mad rush of Times Square people. The hotel itself is in desperate need of a facelift. We visited 8 years ago, and it seemed like all the furniture, wallpaper, rugs, etc. were exactly the same. The place had a worn feel to it. The housekeeping staff were very thorough, the linens crisp, and the towels fluffy. . . I added a star because of this. The bathrooms were barebones but the water pressure in the shower was fantastic (huge plus). Fun visit, and a good hotel if proximity is more important than hotel accommodations. Also, the price is reasonable given the size of the suites and the location.
