Average hotel in good proximity to running occasion (Chelsea embanquement to Battersea park). Rooms clean and service friendly. Tescos and taxi (black cab) around the corner. Nice neighbourhood (Chelsea harbour)

What a lovely warm friendly hotel. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough to help. Room was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and hot with lots of options. Papers available both in reception and at breakfast.

My friend was celebrating 40 years service and her company invited her and a guest to a gala dinner in London so they chose where we stayed . On arrival we were given a very friendly welcome the staff are very helpful .The restaurant & bar area are stylish .Only thing that lets this hotel down is the rooms could do with a good clean .the carpet in our room was covered in stains and looked like it could do with a shampoo .the shower screen was hanging off and was covered in lime scale just needs a little more attention . It was a shame as everything else you couldn't fault . still enjoyed our stay in London

The hotel is in a relatively new area on the thames, previously an industrial/dock area. The area has been revitalised with apartments. There is an overground station very near, and it is possible to connect to the underground just one station away. The room was a king room, which was great, given we are large people. The rest of the room was just fine too. Everything worked, and was convenient. Breakfast was great. The staff were very helpful, and were always refilling the food, and offering topups of coffee and OJ.

No amenities. Poor value. The location is difficult to access. Toilet seats don’t stay up. None of the usual benefits for Gold Hilton members. Internet service in room was very poor. Staff was friendly, but in general I don’t believe it’s up to normal Doubletree standards.
