This was our second time to Tenerife but our first time to this hotel and we had such a lovely time, we would definitely return! Travelled with a 3yr, 9yr and 13yr old plus Grandma and us. I will break it down as I find reviews that do more helpful!
Pools- there were 4 as such; the main one, a baby pool then the childrens fun pool and a small deep one around the other side of the hotel. You can hire pool towels at reception for your stay, €20 each which is fully refundable. You could also change them with the life guard daily if you chose to. The main pool was heated and inflatables were only allowed from 130pm-345pm, our children weren't too happy about this but there are a lot of activities in the pool so this may be the reason. The children's pool with slides ECT was around the other side of the hotel where you could have inflatables all day!! Ours found the water a little too cold there though! But it was always busy. Loungers were locked up until about 930am, on busy days you had to get your spot at the main pool otherwise you would be round the other side, where there was always space.
Food- always a large choice to meet everyones tastes, cold and hot. There was bucks fizz and an omelette station at breakfast. Vast array of fruits and salads. Dinner time on some nights there was a great Italian chef who cooked your pasta and sauce of choice fresh for you!! But there was always chips if you were super fussy! Help your self wine, beer and soft drinks served in restaurant, didn't see anyone bring a bar drink in but I wouldn't see why you couldn't. The snack bar was open when the restaurant was shut and vice versa, serving pasta and rice plus a bolognese sauce, salads, chips, burgers, nuggets, toasties and hot dogs. Ice cream and cake is served 5-6pm then there was an hour gap that no food was served. The snack bar time changes when it's classed as winter hours though.
Rooms- clean and tidy, a large bottle of water and tea and coffee bits are provided, fridge, kettle and microwave. We had a few visiting cockroaches but we were ground floor plus its just their native insects, it WASN'T a dirt issue! So just be aware if you are ground floor you may get an extra visitor or 2!!!
Entertainment- brilliant, hard working team from 11am to midnight daily. We aren't the join in with activities or entertainment kind of family BUT the team made it such fun and welcoming that we all joined in on many things. We think the animation team made this hotel the fun family resort it is, well done. There is a little soft play and indoor area for 4 to 12 year olds where they run daily activities plus play stations for the older ones. They also played movies when the evening entertainment was on. A small play park was round the other side near the children's pool. A pool table was by the bar and another one was by the play park. This was very important to us as our son is Aspergers and he is obsessed so we needed the hotel we chose to have one!!! There are also an airhockey table and a mini football table by the bar.
Bar- the pool bar was the only one opened but in winter the indoor bar and entertain area open. Cocktails were good, very generous with the spirits, mocktails for the kids, 3 drinks order per person at a time policy but I don't see that as a problem as kids just go order for themselves! Plastic cups until 7pm then its glasses.
I think I've covered everything, it was a brilliant holiday, we could relax as the children were all happy and as I said at the beginning we would definitely go back. Thankyou to all the staff 😊

I'm returning to this hotel for the 4th time we arrive on 16th November I have my birthday on 28th and the hotel always puts a card an bottle of wine in my room
I'm a pain when it comes to food in all inclusive but for 2 weeks in never hungry which is a bonus for my partner.
The staff are fantastic if I have one moan it's I miss the cat that used to live round the hotel other than that I don't see what else can be done to make it 5 *

I visited in August with my partner and 2 children (4&8) and would not recommend. Our room was very dated and damp and the bathroom was covered in mould. The evening entertainment was extremely poor, this consisted of cheap plastic seats and tables around the pool and stage watching awful entertainment acts. The food was lovely however there was not a lot of choice and was repetitive each night. Daytime entertainment around the pool was good but mainly for adults or older children.
Raised the issue of the mould and damp with the management of dream palace resorts and they would only offer me a discount on a future stay....not really acceptable response considering the price for the holiday.
Good family holiday

We stayed here for 8 nights with two children aged 2 & 6 years. We were impressed with the facilities at this hotel especially if you are staying with children. The children's pool is great and it is located away from the main pool so we as parents could relax more knowing they were away from the busier deeper pool. The staff are all very friendly and seem to work exceptionally hard. The location for us was not a problem being a 15 minute walk away from the beach. You need a walk after indulging in the all inclusive food/drinks. When we checked in we were told we had a pool view as requested. This was a not exactly accurate - we were in room 20 which was recessed underground with a patio & steps leading up to the the pool so unless a giraffe was on the patio you couldn't quite see the pool. The room was spacious with a separate bedroom. Our other concern with the room was the smell of drains/dampness with the added bonus of the bathroom fan which blew in a smell of wild garlic. We did report this and the smell improved slightly but the fan smell remained an issue. Our other criticism of this hotel is the main dining area is left al fresco which is lovely if you wish to dine outside but the restaurant is rampant with flys and in my opinion this could be avoided by keeping the folding doors shut. There was literally on average 3 flies per table. The food was nice, the pasta chef was the best. The puddings did get a bit repetitive and the fresh fruit mainly consisted of many different types of melon. Apart from these small issues we did enjoy our stay and we visited aqualand which has more slides suitable for smaller children compared to the bigger Siam waterpark. The boat trips are also worth the money we saw loads of dolphins and whales which was amazing.
