The location is very nice and also the management is friendly.
For Breakfast and lunch cafè peler is amazing as it is directly located on the Lake. The dinner on the fifth floor restaurant gives the chance to enjoy a lovely landscape with the sunset painting the Sky and the Lake with its Golden rays.

We've been coming back to Brenzone and Hotel du Lac for 17 years now and for us it's perfect. Friendly staff that always look after us really well. They were great with our two young kids throughout. Access to the lake is superb and the sun loungers are on the lake side of the promenade which is a real bonus. Good light lunches that we all enjoyed. Ideally located for a short 10 minute walk to Brenzone itself for its few restaurants. We will always come back here when visiting Lake Garda. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday.

I was informed upon check in by the lady working on reception that breakfast was included. On check out, I find I was charged 20 euros. Customer service question: do you (a) berate the customer for not having read the small print on his booking, implying heavily that he is a liar trying to get a free breakfast, or (b) apologise for the misinformation and perhaps even offer a refund. I would have just accepted an apology rather than the refund, but it being suggested that I am a liar is shameful customer service and an insult I take very personally.
Aside from this, the hotel is ok. Probably on the lower end of what you would expect for 4 stars, with peeling wallpaper in the room and a snack bar with bad food ("pizza bites" were almost inedible), but the location is good. I would recommend this area, but a different and friendlier hotel.

Great Wellcome from the manager Alessandro who made us feel at home from the first moment , Our room was Amazing big with all we need and even more (A lot of pillows!!!!) , good breakfast ; a real paradise corner beside the lake .. really good food and coktails ..friendly staff ...What else can I say ??? Oh Yes , the marketing on FB is superb :D

We booked a 7 night escape to Hotel du Lac, Brenzone. My fiancee has stayed here twice before and it has worsened in certain areas. However, it is not without its merits and I would still recommend it. There is nothing more glorious than sunbathing in the beautiful weather, then taking a dip in the crystal clear waters. Here is a summary of the great points of the hotel and recommendations for improvement:
GOOD POINTS:
- By far one of the best settings of all hotels around the lake, beautiful views, plenty of shade when necessary.
- The sun-lounging area is not only in front of the main road, but also in front of the public footpath.
- Gloriously relaxed environment, so peaceful
- Friendly and helpful staff, whose English was pretty good
- Wonderful facilities: tennis, indoor pool, kayak, paddleboard, spa
- Rooms comfortable and immaculately clean
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT:
- Too hot and stuffy inside the room, the aircon did not go below 22! We did ask about this, and was told that the humidity meant that the aircon clogged up if they put it any lower. Plus the aircon seemed to turn itself off at night and on again in the morning, of its own accord. We recommend an upgrade to the air-conditioning system to enable cooler temperatures.
- Thin walls, heard snoring and other noises from rooms next door
- The bedroom was a twin room, with the two beds pushed together to make it a double. However, we had two duvets and if you turned over in the bed, the beds would roll apart and we fell down the space between the beds.
- Adding drinks to the room from the bar was perilous. We were charged for some drinks we did not have! We were too exhausted to contest this at the end of the holiday, but it was very annoying. The bar staff seemed reluctant to allow us to pay with cash at the bar.
- Overall German vibe to hotel, did not feel Italian. No beer in the restaurant that isn't German beer. Predominantly German TV channels, with one English channel (Sky News). Please add more English-speaking TV channels.
- People not from hotel frequently sat on the hotel loungers and lay on the grass, they were often disruptive and loud. Please patrol the area better and stop people who are not guests spoiling the environment. It was so awkward. This was the worst issue with the hotel.
