Great boutique hotel - excellent location - "on trend" décor - very clean - good value. Rooms are small - but to be expected in NYC. However, the staff are what set this hotel apart - they're all awesome. And be sure to stop by the lobby bar - absolutely awesome craft cocktails. Highly recommend this property.

The hotel is in a fantastic location - close to subway, many cafes and restaurants, shops, downtown sites etc. It is only a small hotel and has limited facilities, but the rooms are modern and well maintained (although on the small side - especially if there are two of you with luggage - storage and hanging space are limited). The beds are large and super comfortable, there is good free wifi, the rooms are quiet and the bathrooms are decent. I would definitely stay here again as it is perfect for exploring downtown and has a more relaxed/residential vibe than the more touristy mid-town, although next time skip the pre-purchased breakfast - limited range of items and not frequently re-stocked.

Clean, pleasant room with a comfortable bed. The lighting in the room was a little low, but otherwise, it was a great place to stay. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the Duane Street Hotel is rather small. But it is a clean, tidy, pleasant oasis amidst Manhattan. The rooms have just enough room on either side of the bed to navigate around. Storage is limited but acceptable. Ask for a room on the fourth floor as it is the quietest. The staff is pleasant and they are friendly without sounding like robots trained at corporate headquarters.

I always look at trip advisor when booking any hotel and was not disapointed. Everything was excellent the location, room size for New York was great the bed was very comfy. We had a couple of cocktails in the bar before going out for the evening which were excellent. The sfaff couldnt do enough for you and were very helpful. I will not hesitate in recommending this hotel and will be back again soon I hope. Thank you for making my stay a pleasure. We stayed here for 6 nights.
