What People are saying

Loved it

Alona G on 17/11/2017 11:10

Really loved our stay here. A small terrace so you can smoke. Really friendly staff. Room is on the small side but very clean. We given a cocktail voucher and Irish coffee voucher upon arrival, which was a lovely welcome. We will definately stay here again.

Only suitable for pub lovers

Øystein B on 17/11/2017 10:19

Entering the hotel, reading luxurious rooms, well....
Small room, no fridge, toilet which allows you to flush once every 15 min, no isolation at all.

One thing is the hallway where the door doesnt keep any voices or sounds blocked out.
The windows, well couldnt even be fully closed, ALL sound from street, people outside and pub music entertain you all night.
People smoking outside the pub, can smell sometime in the room
Smell from toilet.

Room with city view is window and view to highly trafficked street.

Pluss? In the heart of party, well tourists party as the locals apparently are elsewhere.

Maybe the review would be better if not tired after yet another night with noise. And no, I dont find the earplugs available in the room very appealing...

Perfect for what I wanted on my visit to Dublin

Colin B on 17/11/2017 09:36

A warm welcome on arrival from a knowledgeable receptionist. Nice clean room (bit small, but I was only there for 1 night). Perfect for Temple Bar nightlife. Most importantly, after 13 hours of travel; a comfortable bed and virtually no noise from the nightlife. All in all, a nice little hotel with easy access to Dublin City centre.

Great location and friendly staff

italianirish80 on 02/11/2017 18:30

The hotel is in a great location. It is located above a fun bar/restaurant with an extremely friendly staff. The rooms are average but the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. It can be a little noisy out at night but in a big city it is to be expected. The only suggestions I would make is for hotel concierge to have all types of recommendations ready on a lot of types of places/areas of Dublin so they can provide them to guests who may ask.

Great gym, rest of the hotel is fine

IanDLondon on 01/11/2017 15:44

I go to this hotel because it offers access to a great gym that is 5 minute walk from it. That is the best feature of the hotel.
The location is great as it is easy to walk to all the sites from the hotel and to offices too. The area just around the office is full of restaurants and bars.
The wifi is of good quality so you can do conference calls.

Aside from that, the hotel is basic/normal for its rating. The staff at the reception does their job but no more. It's not the friendly welcome of a regular hotel. They even ask you to fill an online form so that they don't have to speak with you.
The food at the restaurant is terrible. Poor quality pub food. The breakfast is definitely not gourmet. And they play weird country music at night.

But the gym is awesome. The rooms are clean and quiet if you are at the top floor.
