Perfect for a relaxing holiday
FelixstoweSueon 23/09/2015 09:11The hotel is beautifully designed in a lovely location . In the grounds is a 9 hole golf course with views over the sea which we played a few rounds on . It is expensive to play though. The beach area is a little small and the sea can be choppy at times but it is near some amazing beaches and it appears that there are very few hotels built on the beach in this area in fact we did not find one in the vicinity. The service in the hotel was excellent and always with a smile. The restaurant was also very good . We ate there a number of times as I was so impressed with the food . The bedrooms were also of a good size and were always cleaned before lunch. The air conditioning worked well and there was a fridge and television. We also had a patio area. No views but we booked a standard room

MLC064on 05/09/2015 10:08The chef is a genius and the place is relaxing and very well run. Very good level of service and rooms were comfortable and clean. Local diving is not great but just going out with the boat was beautiful.
Very nice golf resort hotel but golf course only has 9 holes.
KLTokyoon 28/07/2015 22:58First of all, the course only had 9 holes. Mostly Par 3 and a few par 4. The course is very scenic and can be windy and it just is unfortunate that they only have 9 holes. Having said that some par 3s are very long and challenging and quite fun to play. You will need to be a good short game player to score well here. However, if you play couple of times in this course then you will know how to score well so if you are an avid golfer and expecting "golf" as your main activity then Due Lune may not be satisfying.
The hotel itself is very nice and has its private beach and a small private pool. The room is clean and serviced well. The hotel has 1 main restaurant, bar (with a little snack) and beach side eatery. The TV has international programs too. The staff all spoke adequate English and they were very friendly. We tried the dinner at the restaurant and food was average and there was nothing to write home about. I suspect they need to cater for many people so the food they prepare have to be a standard food so if you want a local Italian food then the hotel restaurant will not be able to satisfy your requirement.
All in all, the place has a lot of potential.

Alexa Son 11/06/2015 17:13This place is great! It is located in such a serene area and offers incredible views of the sea. The service is wonderful and we felt so relaxed. We debated about where to stay on this area and are very happy with his choice! Book a room on the ground floor as it is closer to everything.

Fabio Gon 09/09/2013 20:4130 minutes south of Olbia airport in Puntaldia the Due Lune is one of the best resorts I have ever been to (I have seen a few all over the world). Location is very good of course and the building is also very good quality (as one would expect) but what sets the Due Lune apart from many other very good resorts is the quality of the service, the attention to detail and the excellent food. It is not the cheapest, especially in August, but it is really excellent. We found out that many of the guests go there year after year which makes booking early a must if you want to try it.
The par 30 9-hole golf course is more challenging that one could guess looking at its length especially when the wind blows (most of the time!).
