Our stay, as short as it was, was excellent. The pub side of the Duke of Marlborough was romantic, cosy, warm, with good beer - everything an English country pub should be. The accommodation side of the Duke of Marlborough was also excellent. Clean, spacious, quiet, modern rooms (although took me a few minutes to get my head around the shower mixer operation but once I understood the workings no further issue). I was impressed with the ample parking and liked the fact that the accommodation was seperate from the pub - but also so close. If I am ever back in England then I would love to return.

We stayed two nights while sight-seeing in the area. The room was great, plenty of space and nicely appointed. The breakfast was lovely. The owners and their staff were very friendly, and made us feel very welcome. We also had their afternoon tea, which was excellent.
We would definitely stay here again.

Location great - easy to find off the main road and very convenient for visiting Woodstock and Blenheim Palace .
There is plenty of parking in the pub car park .
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Evening meal in the pub dining room was great . Plenty of variety, good quality and excellent value for money .
Breakfast was good too with choices of vegetarian or meat English cooked good plus cereals, juice , etc.
The atmosphere in the pub on Friday night was great due to the live music provided by a Folk Duo . This was an unexpected bonus by the cosy wood burning stove .
Our room was clean and comfortable in the block alongside the pub .
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this pub to others.

We have just spent three days here and will certainly be going back.
Staff were friendly and efficient and the rooms were well worth the price. Food was excellent both breakfast and dinner.
Great place to stay for visiting the cotswolds.

Very comfortable hotel. The food and service were excellent. The hotel is in a good location and had ample car parking spaces. Near to several tourist attractions and not far from the city centre. Would definitely stay again.
